Well that was depressing. We lacked in every department that was hard to watch. Keeper gifted a goal, pen straight after HT, did Kane even have a shot tonight? poor passing, slow movement. I did expect a lot more, MU actually played the way I thought we would, fast tempo, quick pressing. Very very bad performance really no positives at all :(

Jose can't do much about Sissoko and Aurier leaving gaping holes.

He can't do much about Sissoko being stupid and dangling a leg.

He can't do much about certain players being passive and passing sideways to not accept responsibility.

He can't do much about players just launching it to no-one.

That for me is the point where Jose can take a look and realise certain players should be out of the club at first chance.

Sissoko
Aurier
Dier
Lucas

Winks can't be relied on against teams who press high but he's still useful.

Sanchez needs time but he needs to start to cut out silly parts of his game.

He did. The free kick.
Precisely. I want him having 5+ shots. It says a lot about all of our front players, and not just him, that he can play 97 minutes of football and not hit a single shot from open play.

Edit: gotta love an iPhone auto”correct” (football = foot all, apparently)

Limited. Some players are past their sell by date. Couple of them don't want to be here.

Tactics seemed limited.

Tanguy looks fucking super unfit, still blowing out his arsehole which is not a good sign.

No idea what Lo Celso is meant to be, currently the summer window is looking catastrophic without a lack of direction to why we made the purchases.

This squad of players looks fucking done.

both of those problems with the two summer signings would be addressed by actually playing them

That was awful just a total lack of intensity again ...Kane Son Lucas didn't turn up.. no one in midfield who could pass the ball to link play.. Jose got this wrong with starting lineup
very disappointing.. but ultimately two mistakes cost us!!

I don't think either Winks or Sissoko are good enough really. Not enough brains or composure in either of them.

Thought Ndombele made a difference. Take fucking note Jose! Just shit from start to finish though. Did Kane even have a shot?
Think it was more United sitting a deeper and having another intelligent footballer in Eriksen in and around him than anything he did.

United were spot on tactical wise. Son, Kane and Moura a ghost out there. Poor game

Oh well. At least Ole's at the wheel for a while longer, with a win like this once in a while. As long as he's in charge, they're no threat to us over a season.

Well at least Poch wont be going to manure this side of Sunday.
Seriously though, that was shocking from us. We made them look like Barcelona or whoever the fuck. Sanchez, Sissoko, Aurier make me nervous when they have the ball

That triangle of Aurier at RB Sanchez at RCB with Sissoko at RDM is an accident waiting to happen. Far to many mistakes in them to go through 90 minutes without at least one of them messing up.

No matter how well or bad we are doing we never show up at certain so called big teams grounds. Man U could be fighting relegation and would still beat us at their place every year.
2 very soft goals conceded again. We have been conceding soft goals for a long time now. We need a new back 5 and DM imo these boys are not up to it/anymore

We cannot have Winks in the side if we are to challenge anything. Dier at least offers some protection to the defence.

Sissoko and Aurier are so predicable now.

Kane needs to show alot more leadership. Bully the defenders ffs. The CBs are so crap and he had no shots to threaten De Gea at all.

I agree with everything apart from the comment that Dier protects the defence.

We need to stop making stupid mistakes too inside the penalty area. Those kind of tackles surely will get penalised. Don't know why Sissoko and Co never learned

There are no excuse for loosing to this Utd. They are really awful. Jose needs to change his team. I'm really happy with what he is getting out of Dele, but that aside we look no different. Obviously it going to take time to install new ideas and one can not get too hung up on one result at this point. But this was such an incredibly uninspired performance with nothing changing I would be lying if I said I wasn't concerned. And even putting that all aside, his treatment of Lo Celso is really starting to annoy me. Over working the players that "know the league" is not going to take us anywhere. Anyway, this result was coming, we have let in 8 goals now in 4 matches I think, this isn't a shock. It all depends on what happens over the Christmas period. Onwards and hopefully upwards.

it’s obvious now that theres only so much a new manager can change. there are a number of players playing for us who just aren’t good enough, or aren’t bothered enough.

until that changes, our performances are results will stay pretty much as is.
