Truth.

He would be getting shit for not starting Lo Celso or NDombele.

Not really. I can see why he hasn’t picked Lo Celso in a two away at West Ham and NDombele is injured.

Tbh I would moan if Poch has played Dier and Winks in there but that’s more because both players under Poch have been underwhelming for a long time or playing the wrong roles.

Let's be honest. If Poch picked this team we wouldn't be happy

Poch would never pick that team anyway. For starters Moussa always started and Lucas and Dier hardly ever did. Also Davies was more out of his team then in.

Big responsibility for the guy's on the flanks - Son & Lucas. Let's hope they trackback and support the fb's

One thing to watch for is Alderweireld being instructed to get on the ball and instead of slowly building up play from the back, just spray long diagonal passes for willing runners in Son and Moura. I think we saw a bit of this in the released training footage from two days ago.

The only surprise is no Sissoko in the starting XI but we don’t know the reasoning for that. Plus we know Mourinho likes Dier and our form dropped off a cliff when two things happened: Dembele left and Dier got a serious illness and struggled to regain complete fitness since. That was our central midfield for years.

Dembele is the real reason we went off the boil. Incredible all round player that terrified the opposition.

It’s quite balanced.

Dier in front of back four alongside a box to box midfielder in Winks.

And up top Moura and Son on their proper sides with Dele tucked in behind Kane.

Fingers crossed...

sessegnon only played 35 mins for england u21s over their two recent games despite there being plenty of changes so would guess he's still not fully there yet.

Bit of a weird one in that, if we batter them, it will prove that our players had just been downing tools under Pochettino.

I remember when Chelsea did that in their final season under (ironically) Mourinho and I absolutely hated their players for throwing a manager under the bus like that. Will be a bit gutting to have it finally confirmed that our squad are no better.

Having said that, we move on and I hope we dick them 3/4 nil and keep this positivity and momentum.

I was just about to say I have such mixed feelings about the game today. On one hand I actually feel more confident of a win but still feel like you said in your post, this will prove that the players threw poch under the bus if we have a good performance. I think Eriksen was such an important player for us but recently could not stand to even see him on the bench. The thing is if he comes on and he’s back to his best, do I then want him to stay or not?
Today is going to be one hell of an emotional roller coaster for me

They also need to be creative. For all of sonny's and Lucas qualities they dont creative enough. If they can create then it can work

Surprised sissoko’s not starting though he would be right up Mourinho’s street

I think I speak for a lot of us here when I say -

Fuck Eriksen

Not necessary... Players are allowed to want to leave... Well see him play and give his all shortly. His worn our shirt with pride and he will continue to do so when his chance comes.

Pissed off with no Ndombele. One thing I won't miss from Poch is his reluctance to withdraw players from international call ups. Ndombele came of injured in our last game and was on the bench for France 5 days later. Joke. Think Dele will be a big player for Jose.

Will also be interesting how the players are set with our goalkicks

Mourinho hasnt managed a side that allows players inside the box
