Must admit I feel better about our chances against West Ham on sat as I was feeling we had no chance I now feel we are going to win does this make me fickle?

Nope, completely agree with you - I really struggled to see us turning it around with Poch in charge.

I did too. It got to the point where Poch really had to go. I was more angered over the timing as this could and should have been done a week ago. I love Poch with all my heart and honestly, I would not be too shocked if we see him again on our touchline in the future but this had to happen now.

No. Just a bit more optimistic. I feel the same. Actually looking forward to a game, been a while..

Poch out? Jose in? Spurs really are a bunch of beautifully mad bastards.

Probably why I'm such a fan...

I haven't seen it mentioned, but this change has obviously been in preparation for weeks. Otherwise, we wouldn't have had a signed-up new manager a matter of hours after the removal of his predecessor was announced. It appears that the club didn't act to remove Pochettino and his team until they were sure they had Mourinho fully on board.

That suggests a detailed, perhaps even lengthy negotiation, which in turn would surely include written terms and promises regarding recruitment of coaches and players.

The speedy announcements of coaches leaving their current clubs is further proof of this. Those negotiations had to start weeks ago. Jose may have left eh club's name out of it, but you would have to imagine that is unlikely.

Do we expect more staff to arrive?
Poch had an assistant, a first team coach, goalkeeping coach, plus his son as fitness coach. whereas so far Mourinho has only appointed and assistant, fitness coach and goalkeeper coach, plus some analysts/scouts. No mention of first team coach yet.

Difficult since he will need to buy players to replace those we sell and that will require Levy to spend big which rarely happens and especially not in the January window where prices are inflated. I think he will probably sell Eriksen but other than that he will have to pretty much make do with who he has so I think there will not be many leaving.

am still gutted about poch but well played levy if it means jose gets all the staff he wants in. must have been in discussions for a fair while and it's no easy feat getting everyone to commit at the same time.
