I was torn but think it’s the right thing for Poch to go. He’d clearly lost half the dressing room and looked like a man who wanted to go himself.

I’m convinced both things are to do with Levy not delivering on the promises he made when Poch signed the new contract last May; not only was Poch frustrated that some senior players didn’t get their moves and weren’t replaced, but those players have seen staying at the club as an opportunity to wind down contracts and get big paydays at the end of the season. Now Rose has, in his typically mercenary fashion, publicly said as much too.

Ultimately the contract rebels have won. But Poch also couldn’t fabricate a consistent team without them and it’s not like the talent isn’t there - not necessarily good enough to get us top-4 but good enough to not be 4pts off relegation.

So onwards we go.

Who Jose plays on Saturday will be telling. And if he plays Eriksen and the other contract rebels - and they now start playing properly again it’ll speak volumes.

Anyway ... “He comes from Portugal! He hates the Ars-en-al!!”

I wonder if we moved this along quickly because there had been rumours about him getting the gooners job.

Hope so!
I cant see Emery lasting the season and Jose would surely be at the top of their list.
Fuck them.

Never really liked Jose that much because of his attitude and arrogance.

But you know what? He is our arrogant **** now. I'm going to embrace that and enjoy all the digs, slants and mind games he throws out to other teams.

And let's face it, a streak of decent results - and dare I say a trophy - and we won;t give a flying fuck who it is that is in charge.

Plus it will piss off the Chavs to no end, like we did to the gooners when we hired GG.

It's one thing to go to Utd, another to sign for us. ?

I'm hurting and probably will for some time
This Managerial horror show is more a ten second fuck than a satisfying relationship
more a rape than even a one night stand.

We did this once before to Uncle Martin and didn't that go well.
Ramos who actually won something but only the League Cup,
Redknapp, Boas and Sherwood and a decade in the football wilderness
until we restored some pride and dignity with Mauricio
a man with a plan, a project, a vision but the rest of the footballing world didn't approve.

We've sold out all that and taken on the pundits and newspapers agenda for us.
Now they can relax especially with the appointment of the 'not so special one'
We've rejoined the herd, no longer doing it differently.
Frank Sinatra weeps for us.

Lets hope Mourinho can go one better that Pochettino and win the Champion's League.
Anything else apart from the Premiership is a mere bauble
and that's what we've sold our souls for.

'But you didn't win anything' will be inscribed on your grave
and there is no guarantee that we will anything in the foreseeable future
but hey the man's a winner and that's all that matters.
Our inferiority complex exposed for all to see.

Thanks Mauricio and your staff and forgive us.
You don't owe us anything but we owe you bigly.
Take an effing chill pill mate. Or call someone as it sounds as if you might top yourself.
We are getting one of the most accomplished managers out there and definitely the biggest managerial name since Venebles. To quote Donald Trump, I don't want a nice guy anymore, I want a killer. And JM is most definitely that. Poch will land on his feet and the many millions he's made at Spurs are bound to soften the blow.

Hi, I was a Poch out supporter because over the past two seasons much of our football has be carp - 2 passes forward, 2 passes sideways, 3 passes back with only the occasional sexy football played with skill and style, pace and power. However my feelings on JM are that he is more likely to win trophies, more likely to be defense minded and more likely to buy success. As an old breed supporter I crave for entertainment showing attacking football played with passion and skill, but maybe the modern supporter wants trophies regardless. So I am going keep an open mind on JM, give him and his team the support they need and remember with affection the highs that Poch gave us.

No excuses now. World class stadium, training facilities, players and now manager. This goes wrong and Levy is for the chop.

I feel sorry for Poch as bad as we have been for a while now think he had done enough in his reign to warrant having to the end of the season to try sort things.
Jose is not my cup of tea but the guy is a proven winner and if his dull football brings trophies i would take it all day long.

are you a current season ticket holder?

winning is important, especially for a club like ours that is starved of silverware.

the way we play is important also.

I, like a lot of others, is torn by this sacking and appointment.

I'm fine
thanks for your concern.

Quoting Trump is a two edged sword
How well that's all going well for him currently.

Mourinho is not too particular
who he kills I'm afraid.
More blunderbuss than stiletto.

No signings for two windows,
A year and a half playing every game away
Over-performed by a mile.
Mourinho will do well to come close
to Pochettino's league and Champion's League record.

It's not about the money

Wonder how many of you were laughing at how crap Mouhrino was and now saying how wonderful it is to have a 'winner '
He will undo all the good unmeasurable work Pochettino did before he goes.

Nooo
I cannot get my head around this.
It's ridiculous -this guy is poison.
Levy should have been more patient-shown more trust in Poch
I'm so fukin disgusted
One away win since January, 5 wins in 25 games, that's relegation form, tanked 7-2 at home, knocked out of the cup by a 2nd div team, lucky to get a draw on numerous occasions this season. He had to go, end of
