Context is lost for anyone who doesn't follow JJ or use twitter tbh - can't see the tweet
Aah yeah forgot he has a locked account.

here is the context of what was said -

The original JJetset

@jetsetyid

We won’t sack him now & the hysteria on here is stupid. His first major blip in charge and he will be supported to come through it. Yes the form has been off for a while & playing style needs to change, yes we need to update certain positions but we will support MP as we should.

At this moment we need a big name. Mourinho males sense. It will keep the players interested in this project and he has won something in every club he has been to. In a few seasons he will leave and so will the team. This team needs to win something and soon. Mourinho makes sense. Otherwise I'd just back Poch in rebuilding the club.

Will be interesting whoever new manager is to see some different tactics and how our players respond, in particular Kane and Winks who thrived in those two England games.

Will we finally go 4-3-3?

Poch was never the greatest tactician, he was more about motivation and getting them working hard.

Wow, didn’t expect this tonight, I thought at least after the WHam game.

Mourinho makes sense in a lot of ways, but certainly so looking at our squad. If he is to get the job, let’s hope he is rejuvenated, happy, determined, and with some new outlooks for the newer modern game. If he is all those things, this could be a master stroke.

Either way, it deffo seems Poch had burnt out, and possibly burnt out a few players along the way.
If Jose is in charge for Saturday, I’d expect to see Toby, Dier, Sanchez, and Foyth all start. Dier as the as the DM. Would he go 4-3-3 tho? More likely 4-2-3-1 I’d think.

We will definitely play with a defensive midfielder, that's for sure.

Thinking from Mourinho's perspective, he would probably restore any damage done to his reputation and cement his status as one of the best managers of all time if he won something big with us. I mean with Spurs, the team people joke about as being nearly men, the team even Pochettino with the best team we had in years couldn't win anything with. Then in walks Moutinho and there you go, I did it, told you I'm the special one. If he went back to Real or City after Pep or wherever else, would it really add that much spice ... maybe but not to the same degree as winning things with us would. It might not be the way we want it, but if it reaches that end I sure won't be complaining.

Bitter sweet moment in all honesty.

Incredibly sad to see Poch go. He clearly loved the club and we did fall in love with him. However, it's not been right for a long long time and it's clearly obvious that the players have grown tired of his voice.

He lost me around about the Newcastle game when it seemed like we were lacking direction. The Bayern and Brighton double whammy put the final blow in as when those results happen it very very rarely ever turns around. Since then it's just been the hope that he turns it around based on absolutely nothing. Unfortunately football can be ruthless and unfortunately we need to be.

I still admire him. I still think he's a fantastic coach who'll do well elsewhere - although I think he seriously needs to learn how to adapt from the 'intense press only' tactics he prefers.

As I've said before, ever since Poch uttered the words "I'll go home" and having later watched Mourinho say really nice things about us on punditry for the CL final I started to wonder what he would achieve with us. Poch got us so far, time for Jose to scribe our name on the trophies.

Someone should commission a documentary series about it...it's like a Hollywood script.

How much did he actually spend at say inter Milan was it really that much? And it’s not like he’ll have 0 money. Well have a few big wages off the bill and we are now in the stadium with the nfl deal in place etc etc our spending power will only increase in the coming years. Poch was manager through the tough times, now the purse strings will open they have no reason not to now, otherwise it’ll be levy that is out next.
Net Spend of 52m in his first season and a positive nets pend of 14m in his second, so 38m overall.

Total outgoings on players was 58m 1st season and 84m second season, so 142m overall.
