After the sacking of Poch. Where do you stand on ENIC as our majority owners?

I reckon it's time to get the old placards out again.

Not that I particularly want Levy gone. I just loved how shit the placards were...

SC sometimes...

Poch is manager and we're not winning nor changing manager....
"Why are we putting up with ENIC? They clearly don't want to win trophies!"

Can we not.

There must be enough of these threads.

I thought it would be interesting to see if people lost confidence in ENIC after the sacking of Poch or if they are still backed by the fans. Not judging if any opinion is better than another.

Relatively successful manager ran out of steam after 5 years, it's no shock and I've posted for the last couple of years that there will likely be a point where it happened.. He's gone to the limit, players have gone to the limit, and then it goes downhill. It happens, and it unravels quickly. (Also because football is short term these days and no one has the knowledge and know how as to manage change and transition from one side to another and so are caught behind the curve when it creeps up on them, but that's going off into the deep slightly on this topic). Even the best have found this out - Guardiola got out of Barca when he found his players not listening to him as much and standards slipping, and Klopp's Dortmund team derailed badly at the end.

I'm not sure why blame needs to be apportioned here or for knives to come out - Board, Poch, or Players.

It's not like they can be fired. We also don't get to choose the next owners. Whoever buys us next will need to serious money behind them.

Levy and ENIC successfully transformed us from lower mid table to top five without spending. The last few seasons have been mostly focused on the stadium.

We have stadium debts but an increased income. Our turnover will improve if the teams becomes successful Levy and ENIC have had my support so far but the next stage will be huge in determining if they are right to improve us.

But if they don't there is nothing we can do about it.

In ffs. For a start, we wouldn't have the best stadium in Europe without them. And, in the grand scheme of things, it's such a massive positive for the club as a whole going forward. And world-class training facilities, and the lodge, and everything else. The on-the-pitch stuff will sort itself out but ENIC and Levy (with Poch over-achieving for the middle 3 years of his tenure) have bumped the club up several notches.
