First time i've seen a bit of smoke from the press regarding this. So i'm gonna revise my prediction and think he'll be gone after West Ham if it's the usual shite.

Times, Mail and Telegraph... either they're all bored and making shit up, or something's happened behind the scenes.

I do wonder if it might have something to do with Harry Kane. I know he's not the sort to rock the boat, but perhaps he's returned from international duty and has made clear that if we continue on the current path with the current manager, he'd like permission to leave in the summer. And who would blame him?

As for timing... yes... very, very odd thing to do. You would've thought the decision could have, or should have been made last week. So, what changed? Did Poch demand Levy splash the cash in January and get rid of the deadwood, but Levy wouldn't commit?

Or, maybe it's all been about negotiating a separation and a new relationship. EG: Poch wants to go to Bayern. Spurs maybe want Maureen. And they've been negotiating in the background for a manager who has a long track record of winning trophies... as that's the only type of manager I could see Harry staying for. As much as many on here may despise Maureen, I'd imagine the players would be pleased to have him there. A proven winner.

Who knows?

Despite those reports, it seems highly unlikely he'll be going anywhere prior to the West Ham game. And should we lose to West Ham and he gets fired... well, that makes us look like right idiots. Why would one game make a difference? So, I sorta doubt that too. My guess is Levy would stick with Poch, unless there is a full on player revolt, or we are being dragged into a relegation ding-dong.

That's just it, it isn't just one game.

He is now favourite with most bookies for next manger to leave with Jose as short as evens

I think there’s legs in this, unfortunately

No smoke without fire as they say. Something definitely in these latest rumours. I have to admit, I’m actually a little relieved and hope we can let Pochettino go with dignity, but at the same time bring in a fresh new face. The club desperately needs a change.

Maybe Levy has noticed how well a lot of our players have done on international duty compared to their league form.

Poch has been given more than enough time to turn it around, so we can’t be accused of not being loyal but most of this season has been absolutely atrocious.

And if the players aren’t playing for him and he’s not getting them back onside...

The times now also reporting it on their back page for tomorrow. 3 sources in total now, right? There's definitely a lot of smoke. Slightly bricking it, as even though I had basically come to the realization that Poch needed to go, I still had some sort of underlying conviction that he'd pull through and produce results. I love the man, I really do.

1 source ( a club insider ????? according to the Daily Fail ) and all other media outlets jumping on the back of it

We've mid November, that's not more than enough time. If it's clear his head and heart aren't in the job still then get read yes, but otherwise should be given more time, especially given a lot of problems are down to Levy.

I think it’s foolish to think papers or particular journos are out to get us. They rarely are. There is clearly a story here. If it was a club we were dispassionate about, we would smell it immediately.

My guess:
- Levy and Poch and maybe third parties are talking about the financials if he were to go;
- The players know we’re in end game;
- The club are signaling not inevitably Mourinho to follow (see Nagelsmann story in Times) - possible they’re signaling this to Mourinho too (ahead of any talks, conscious of his likely demands);
- Defeat to Hammers and Poch gone.

I told my buddy id be surprised if Poch is still manager come West Ham and i’d still be surprised even now, on the last week of international break when players return. This is Spurs we are talking about. This club is run like a clown show.

Let's see the next manager to get 4 top four finishes in a row and get us into champions league final on a next to nothing net so spend.

Let's see everyone's saviour, serial winner Jose do that. Never going happen, it's only downhill from now if we go down the road of getting read of the manager rather than backing him and getting ready of the players who clearly would prefer to be anywhere else than at spurs.

And yet people will still fall over themselves to defend baldilocks

How about the ones Pochettino apparently wanted that we didn't go for? Lallana, Schneiderlin, Berahino. Is it the chairmans fault we went for Aurier over Ricardo or Grealish over Maddison? I mean our chairman did go out and get over £100m of incomings the summer 2017 and nearly £150m of incomings this summer pending the Lo Celso deal.
