I feel sure Poch is going to make changes for tomorrow's game with Sheffield United. One of the most infuriating things about his tenure here is the number of changes he makes from one game to the next, even when we are (or were) winning regularly. It always drives me bonkers when we pass up the chance of creating continuity and the maintenance of form. I would never change a winning team, but then, I'm not the Spurs manager. Please God he keeps at least nine players in the team for tomorrow with the exception of Rose and Eriksen, but I fear the worst in the team selection. Our game tomorrow is I feel, going to be much tougher than many Spurs fans believe. Just look at their away record.

.

Honestly. Poch has always changed teams and formation what’s new? When we’re winning hardly anyone complained. Funny that.

We can't be rotating our team when we're sitting at the bottom half of the table... You don't see the top 4 doing it. Sheffield has allowed the joint lowest amount of goals this season alongside Leicester and ahead of Liverpool. We need to build off of a great performance and bring our weapons out. We're going to have a much busier period after the international break when we have 3 matches in one week. The gaffer needs to change his mentality... Build the players fitness by making them play! If they fatigue, sub them out! If we go up on Sheffield, sub players out and give them rest!

Thus said, same team:
Gaz
Foyth Sanchez Dier Rose
Sissoko Ndombele
Lo Celso Dele Son
Kane

Bench: Austin, Tanganga, Sessegnon, Skipp, Eriksen, Lucas, Parrott

We’re playing more games bar Liverpool injuries fitness levels form and turn over between games is the reason for changes . Pochettino is just using the squad (we need a better squad)

Eriksen has gone backwards big time.
Aurier wants out .
Alderwerild wants out and is not giving 100%.
Moura is not good enough his career cannot be supported by one game against Ajax and one game at old Trafford .
Rose is in and out with the fairies .
If these players were omitted from the first team squad myself for one would be happy.
I would be happier if Foyth / Parrot / Tanganga / LO Celso / Sessegnon would be playing in place of the what I call the non triers .
They come across as not caring and if what we are getting is their best then they are proving they are not good enough for spurs
Don't agree that Lucas Moura isn't good enough.

And I don't think "in and out with the fairies" is an appropriate way of describing someone who's had mental health issues.

I think it’ll be:

Paulo
Aurier Toby Eric Davies
Winks Sissoko
Eriksen Alli Son
Kane

Bench; Vorm, Foyth, Sanchez, Ndombele, Sessegnon, Lucas, Lo Celso

What a lineup from Poch. Genuinely happily surprised with that. Midfield and attack unchanged.

I think rotation is fine, even preferable, when confidence is high and there’s a good vibe throughout the squad. But when you’re going through a long rocky patch, as we are, and confidence is fragile, then when you stumble across a good and effective formula - as we did with our midfield and attack particularly on Wednesday - I think you need to lock that in.

Well done, Poch!!!???

Jan not even in the squad and Poch has finally bitten the bullet and dropped the big 3 (4 if you include Rose).

It's what I said should have happened 4-5 weeks ago but better late than never...now hopefully the team can prove I'm right

Cue losing 0-4 at home to Sheffield United :ROFLMAO: :(

And when we can't buy a win any more, we shouldn't do anything about it? You happy with the way we've been playing in 2019? We are the worst team in the Premier League this calender year and we're 12th in the table with a third of the season already gone. Time to hit the panic button.

I've already written this season off. I'm willing to give Pochettinho a couple more transfer windows to rebuild the team / squad plus move players on.
I get many won't agree, but that's my position.

I admire your hardy stance and I only wish I had your faith, but I don't. The way things are going, I just wonder where we're going to be in the table by the time the next window comes round.
