That's mad from Inter if true. Like I've said before I struggle to understand what exactly it is that he's supposed to bring to a team. He's relatively hard-working I guess, but he's not particularly good on the ball, not particularly good at passing, not particularly good at shooting, and defensively he's just an absolute liability who can't tackle for shit. He's up there with Aurier for the "Walking Red Card of the Season" award for me. I know 40m isn't a huge amount in the ridiculous market today but there must be better options than Xhaka for a team like Inter surely?
I agree. He's really good at pinging long balls but that's about it. He's slow and reckless.
I think Inter were/are after buying established names to rebuild their team. Probably a way of trying to repair their reputation which has fallen in recent years.
If Arsenal get 40m to invest into a new CM (they did scout Guendozi) then that could make them more stable in midfield...
