Kinda get the feelin that he’ll be gonzo right after the Sheffield United game next week. Regardless of results.
And wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up at Bayern. Shit seems to be falling into place.

If we don't make top four how many of out of our starting 11 stay?

Well about 5 of them dont actually want to be at the club anyway so theres that to factor in too.

One really has to wonder why he continues to pick these guys.

"Bild" today: Bayern fans want Pochettino, but 'it'll be hard'.

If not him, then Ten Hag, Allegri, Rangnick, Wenger. Not Mourinho.

How was the grass the 10 years before Poch? How's it working for ManU changing managers every couple years? Are Arsenal better with Emery? You honestly think all the sudden we'll just be able to consistently recruit top managers under this ownership? No fucking chance.

You all want Eddie Howe? Be my guest.. I think you're crazy.

for me, difference is that Man Utd and Arsenal changed managers who were successful and won practically every trophy going. the bar was incredibly high, very difficult to follow.

Poch has won zero with our best squad in years. a few top 4 finishes isn’t exactly big shoes to fill.

so you're making next Saturday a must win game v an opponent that has taken points off of Arsenal, Chelsea and not lost away from home yet. They were very unlucky to not get at least a point v Liverpool.

they definitely won't be an easy opponent considering our form at present, and will have to hope we get an early goal or 2, because the longer the game goes the harder it will be to beat a very well organised defensive team that are quick on the counter.
Doesn't the fact that we've reached the point where we are scared of Sheff Utd at home tell you all you need to know?

My biggest problem from yesterday isn't playing Erisken. Whilst I agree that he shouldn't play for the Club again, for argument's sake I will say we were short of options and there obviously is a healthy relationship between the player and Poch despite the situation.

My biggest problem was his lack of action at 10 men. We went down to 10 men with over 20 minutes to go with the added time and we had Moura, Dele, Eriksen and GLC on the pitch. Why? We didn't even try to counter, we were just aimlessly clearing it. Bring on another CM in Winks or better yet, Dier. Go to a back 3 with Dier, we wouldn't have left Tosun unmarked in that situation perhaps.

It's brainless and it's becoming increasingly hard for me to come into this thread and defend Poch. Those who have argued with me over the last month or two know I'm very much Poch in and whilst I'm reluctant to change given the past 5 years, there are glaring, obvious errors from the manager almost every match.

Plus we were poor overall.

Eriksen plays and entire football match and literally does nothing. The only thing worse than that yesterday was Atkinson.

Looks like Levy, as ever, will let the route of all evil decide what's best for Spurs on the pitch.

Poch has options and continues to flat out be stubborn.

It's an ever decreasing circle from here.

I’d love to know what Dier has done wrong not saying should start every game but surely he should be in the equation. Our midfield could really use an anchor right now and Dier done a good job of that down the years.

The injury for Gomes and subsequent red card will obviously be the main talking points from yesterday but unfortunately that will overshadow one of the worst performances we have seen this season and that's saying something. 4 shots in total with 2 on target. Our play was terrible with likes of eriksen being awful (was going to say passenger but they aren't detrimental to the team like he was yesterday with the amount he gave away the ball) and yet Poch made no changes until 73rd minute.
We looked clueless yesterday and look like Portsmouth or QPR did back in the day at the start of the season when they signed nearly a full team and no one knew each other or understood what was being asked of them and that rests with Poch.
It seems like I'm not alone in that with each passing game my view that he should be sacked is being reinforced given his selections and our teams overall performances

This isn't the Dier thread, but Dier isn't up to it. His passing is even worse than Winks' and he's looked slow and cumbersome every time he's played recently. We need a Wanyama type anchor-man, the Wanyama we bought of course, not this one.

Worse than Winks'? Come on now. Of the weaknesses Winks has, passing isn't one of them

You're right. He finds Danny Rose or Serge Aurier almost every time he passes to them. The problem is they're the players he predominantly gives the ball to. Look at Ndombele when he plays in the middle, precise midfield cutting passes into the AMs. Even Sissoko might try a little dribble and then a pass sideways, so it at least gets us going forward. Winks is limited. I wish all our players applied themselves as much as he does, but that doesn't cover up the weaknesses in his game.

It is weird and somewhat concerning that we haven't pulled the trigger yet. I don't know what poch has sold the board to continue to be backed but if one or results/performances were good, you could at least see shoots of promise but we've got progressively shitter and the excuses are wearing thin now. He was heavily backed in the summer, maybe he didn't get everyone he wanted but which manager does?

Spending the best part of 20 years getting to the top table, and then subsequently allowing it to be pissed away in 3 months simply inexcusable.

Jose will have to spend a fortune, but Poch should be given a shed load of money in January? By that time we're out of running for the CL and any selling team will double their prices knowing our desperation. Or the alternative that we allow our season to drift, avoid relegation and try again next summer? Unbelievable.

I don't have an issue with Winks being the player that keeps the ball for us. If aurier or Rose were better then you wouldn't even mention it. Ndombele is there to play incisive passes, Sissoko is there to break quickly with his running with the ball, Winks keeps us ticking over, switching play and allowing us to shift side to side to alter the angle of attack. Hes not there to be flashy or to score/assist. His weakness is that he has complete shit to work with.
