2 things:

Firstly.... They seem so oblivious to their own divers, Salah in particular, when they talk about refs ‘giving us everything‘

Secondly..... ‘they will be up for it more than usual because of #6’. Ugh. Cringier than #CR7

That made me want to punch my screen.

Tbh that wasn't too bad. Some of them are a lot frendlier since the UCL final last summer, definitely a different vibe than before.

I do love how some teams think we are favoured by refs though, Kane is the reason for that and yeah he does get away with stuff but their players go down just as easily.

Since we ‘handed’ them the CL Final, least they can do is let us have a win, right?
Oh, and Foyth right back pls.

I will take a draw right now.

The speed at which Liverpool play will cause problems. The key for us is to try and wrestle possession press counter don’t make mistakes be clinical be confident and brave. There’s a lot there to do and previous results don’t favour us

Its been pretty close the last couple of seasons at their ground. Just need to not concede in the first 15 minutes

Hey...it's Liverpool this weekend...everyone loves to hear what their fans are saying about us... :cautious:

**This is a public service announcement...don't shoot the messenger** (y)
Surprisingly quite fair comments.

The fact they're still bitter about two completely legitimate penalties being given against them is laughable.

The fact that they seem to have forgotten we absolutely battered them in that game and would have won only for Kane to actually miss a penalty is even more laughable.

Silva Out
The sadist in me wants us to lose the next 2 games, just to see what happens, I still dont think he would be sacked.

But im hopeful my theory wont be tested.
Doesn’t even matter. The season is finished.
Let’s be honest, he’ll revert to what he knows and we’ll get steamrolled

if he’s still in charge
We will make them look like genuine title contenders. It's what we do.

1-3
Gutted Rose is banned for our game as hes terrible
Don't think spurs have won an away match yet so welcome to Everton the gift that keeps on giving to other teams.
0 3 and Silva sacked, id take that right now
Lose and I think he may be on his way. I've been a big supporter of keeping him but we can't lose 5 in 6 Premier League fixtures, regardless of luck etc.

With our December fixtures coming up we could be looking at being half way through the season and in/near the relegation zone.
Horrible game for us. Spurs look dreadful at the minute, so beating them wouldn’t tell us much about how much, if at all, we’re improving. On the other hand, a win for them would be seen as a ‘return to form’ and one of those good, old fashioned ‘expected defeats’ for us against opposition who have been better than us for a few years now.

I’ll take another turgid game between two rubbish teams like last night, hopefully get the same result and then move on - with a little bit of momentum, at least - to the next few, which will tell us more about where we’ll be come May.

For the most part, a lot of their posts could easily be from here - mostly defeatism/pessimism with a mix of 'hope the manager gets sacked' feel, with a smattering of vague positivity.

Yeah I'm not expecting the football to be good.

Yeah I'm not expecting the football to be good.

Apparently we've scored 20 goals in 4 games against either Silva or Silva at Everton, so it'll be interesting.

We'll have to see whether the gods of consistency are on the side of "we've not won away" or "we usually destroy them"

So what's that I hear you cry...

..."What are those Blades fans saying about our match tomorrow????"...

After watching Spurs tonight we really will see just how good our defence is , it will be there hardest test yet by far .

Let's see how good Spurs are against the best defence in the league. ?

You think Spurs's attack is better than Liverpool ? I'm not sure it's better than Leicesters never mind the scousers.

However you are right it's going to be a hard test. Given their league form they cant afford not to pick 3 points up at home versus us!

How will it be a harder test than when we played against Liverpool?

They were great tonight Son`s a reight player and what worries me is Kane didn't score so he's due a goal , we might be brought down a peg of two on Sat ,will be well happy with a draw TBH .

The fact we’re even thinking we have a chance of something there just goes to show how good a start we’ve had. I’m pretty sure most of us had this as a nailed on defeat, which of course it still could be, before a ball was kicked this year.

Well we shut out Mane/Salah/Firminho so why not?

If we score first.............

As confident as I can be on Saturday. Yes we may get turned over but you can say that about any game in this league. Seriously fancy a 1 1

I’m concerned about set pieces. They’ve got a lot of tall players who are good in the air. And their pace down the flanks worries me.
I’m hoping they’re knackered from last night, Poch hasn’t had time to prepare them properly and he picks the Belgian defenders and Aurier. And Kane shits his pants and has to be subbed.

I'm not worried at all. I think we will put in a shift Mouse will do some trickery. Hopefully we will get something out of the game otherwise I know they will put in a performance.

Looking forward to it. They've played twice since our last game so hopefully that will come into play. Fancy us to get something.

My Spurs mate is shitting his knickers over this game.

The shame of losing to little old us.

The revolution will not be televised..........

Would be nice to go away and not give the opposition a goal head start. I do think that if we have to start chasing this game we will come unstuck with their attackers.

had a dream of a cricket score to us... Blades fans were in raptures, lump on

Preparation. Or lack there of.

It seems we struggle against teams who have done their homework on us. Hopefully Spurs have not been able to focus too much on the weekend's game ?

We will be the 29th Premier League team Harry Kane has played against. He's scored against all other 28.

I like that last comment!
