I've never understood why managers play players who are out of form unless they don't have an alternative! They are just passengers half the time and drag down the performances of the players around them!

Bit of a catch 22 though.
How do they get back in form without playing?

Everyone agrees that a run of games gets fitness and touch (and as a result form) but with no reserves or u23 games for out of form players Giving them a few minutes here and there usually when trying to change a game is not going to be helpful to them or the team.

So i can understand why he is persisting with Dele (even though i have never been his biggest fan :cautious:)

I think Dele has scored two very good goals recently, and if we give him the opportunity to take the reigns once more with all the injuries behind him, I think he could go on to do us well this season amidst all the kerfuffle.
