whilst I appreciate the sentiment, if I was him I’d keep my head well and truly below the parapet after his recent performances.

he’s not in a great position to be calling out ‘real fans’.

Personally I think he's just trying to copy Sissoko who probably was praised for his post.

I'm still expecting Kane to come out with something.

yea i guess. difference is (personally speaking anyway) its better coming from Sissoko who has been excellent for a year and banked some fan credit.

unfortunately Serge has been a clusterf*ck. I’d have shit up and got my own act together before that if i was him.

Absolutely. But I don't think Aurier is smart enough to realize the difference between them.

Or we could give him the benefit of the doubt and maybe he really wants to make it work. Oh well.

A player who is brave enough to come out publicly to rally the team and club. His performances this season were average to very good. Yet some find the need to ridicule him. What shite fans we have. You are the ones not good enough to support the club.

Absolutely nothing wrong with his post. If you're insecure enough to cry about it, that's your problem, not his. At least he isn't hiding away like the others.

Yep, Winks (and probably a few others) haven't posted since the Saints win.

i agree in principle but he has actually disabled comments so its not like he's putting himself in the firing line

He’s not posting a Q&A, it’s a motivational post. Doesn’t need 1000+ of the ‘fans’ we have commenting telling him he’s worse than shit and to get out of our club.

He’s still our best right back even with him being erratic. I would still feel better with him in that position than KWP. I also think that everything he does is magnified by the fans because he’s not liked. He gets criticised for everything, never given the benefit of the doubt whereas other players are.

likewise, we don’t need empty meaningless ‘motivational’ posts from players on social media.

we need them to turn up on the pitch.

Sorry but Aurier hasn't been that bad this season.

When he's played, he's generally been one of the few who looks like he wants to be there. Yes he's made errors but I'd counter that it's hard to excel in a team full of knackered people who don't want to be there, following Poch's clusterfuck tactics.

I think attitudes towards him would be very different if his goal against Leicester hadn't been ruled out by VAR for Son's toe being offside.

It was easy to single Aurier out all the pundits did , Plus Gnabry scored 4 but you look at the whole performance how Aurier gets total blame is not right people need to be fair.

Aurier has done everything that was needed to make himself a legitimate target when things go so badly wrong. In the CL game he was really hung out to dry by the narrow formation and the way Bayern like to attack down the flanks, but he also didn't help his own cause by continually leaving space behind. He should be able to work stuff out for himself but obviously can't. Needs to be replaced, not least becuse some of our fans will always be looking for a stick to beat him with and he always has a handy stick to give out.

There’s nothing wrong with the players that are putting in effort on the pitch trying to rally fans and others on social media imo. Serge and Sissoko despite not being the best players we have are at least trying in both areas

I’d agree though that the players that obviously aren’t giving a monkeys on pitch doing would be a bit laughable.

the only part of his post i took exception to was the ‘real fans’ comment. perhaps something got lost in translation.

but if he’s getting at those booing, or criticising, or doubting the team/Poch, particularly given recent evidence, are not ‘real fans’, the he is massively wide of the mark.

The biggest difference is Sissoko made an apology in his post. Whereas Serge decided its best to call out the fans who aren't happy with the situation and are being vocal about it as not real fans....

He can fuck off and let his performances do the talking. I've supported this club longer than he's been alive, the idiot.
