These are the exact symptoms of issues behind the scenes. Top players being paid top money but a completely poor attitude, confidence missing and no fluidity and desire....

Its a poison and the only solution is to remove at root.....

Do you think Levy would get rid of himself?

Yeah I suppose when I mentioned the youth, they don’t have to be direct from our academy. We can still recruit them from elsewhere.

I watched Liverpool the other night against MK Dons and their youth players, all recruited from other clubs, make ours look utterly shit. They have 16 year olds who look much better than players we name on the bench for premier league games.

Something’s gone tits up at the club when it comes to scouting. It’s pathetic

Finally, someone has said it. Spot on.

And even the first team when you take away a fit and on-form Dembele (gone), Trippier (gone), Toby, Verts, Eriksen (going) who, actually, are we left with who would inspire a starting XI capable of hitting top-4?

Lloris - too many mistakes
Aurier - liability
Rose - wants to leave
Davies - hardly solid or inspiring
Sanchez - not good enough at this level
Tanganga - looks promising but not ready
Winks - passes sideways, loses the ball, zero assists
Dier - loses the ball constantly
Lamela - headless chicken, very little end product
Son - good when played in the right formation doesn’t seem to work atm
Moura - good, falls over too easily, doesn’t seem to thrive alongside Kane
Kane - world class but doesn’t get enough service, can’t work miracles

Lo Celso - will take a season to settle
N’Dombele - not enough quality around him to see his best
Sessegnon - who knows!

And how many would get in the Liverpool or City team?

We’ve lost 17 games in all competitions in 2019, more than any other premier league side, even Watford.

The club have really hung Poch - and us - out to dry with their transfer policy in the past 4 years.

What a ridiculous post! You're judging a struggling team's individuals by their collective form, and judging them against form teams with managers who are currently motivating their entire squad.

It's astounding just how some people are playing the "poor Poch" tune on their violins. A manager who has pretty much built the entire squad and should be praised when they do well, then it's "The club have let Poch down" when they don't. Somehow he is also complete disassociated with players he openly wants when they go off form too. Incredible.

Does anyone know what the xG was today? I think it was a good point that will be useful for us in the CL group stage when we got an xG draw against Bayern Munich in mid-week, but keen to see how today's pretend goals leave us looking in the xG Premier League table?
0.3 MOTD said I think

Ridiculous post, slating all of our players, complete bollocks.
Our squad is 3rd best in the league, let me spin it another way for you:

Lloris - world class goalie and France captain

KWP/Foyth - young raw talents, the latter we got ahead of many top clubs
Toby & Jan - 2 of the best CB,s we’ve ever had + Sanchez is a brilliant talent who’s adapted very well
Rose - on his day one of best LB,s in the league and Davies very capeable back-up

Dier - key part of our best team 2-3 seasons ago
Winks - dominated Real Madrid home and away in the CL a few seasons ago

Lamela - works so hard, clever player, crucial goals and assists in big games
Son - phenomenal player
Moura - did you see the hat trick against Ajax?!

Kane - any words needed for him? World class.

Your assessment was so so wrong, over the top and negative, yes we have a few players who want out but we also have probably the strongest squad we’ve ever had!

Ok we are off form and players and manager to blame but don’t question the quality of our players, they’re more than good enough to come 3rd in this league.

I think Poch and the team are losing games to have an excuse to get out of the Club. We don't buy the players we need even when we only need a couple to kick on and they clearly feel they're not being paid on the scale they should be. Our ambition is to make money rather than win trophies and that's the problem in a nutshell.

Poch doesnt look like he is in control of events.Infact the opposite. He seems confused. He isnt on top of things. He is even expecting the players to respond positively when he is a picture of tension on the sideline.
No he isnt in control.

So, our youth system’s not up to it, our scouting for bargains has been abysmal and we’ve bought some new players finally but won’t alter our net spending ways according to itk despite needing quite a few more changes. What’s the way forward for the club right now? Worrying.

Poch has clearly been fucked off for quite time as have the players. Penny pinching has come home to roost.

Well, call me old fashioned but a proper manager would have a handle on all of this.

Poch calls himself a head coach and often says things are in the hands of the board etc
Perhaps he has zero input on such things? If so, the whole fucking thing might as well be wrapped up! Our next gaffer has to be in charge of everything. The youth look shit bar Parrott, we don’t buy prospects anymore or try to invest in young talent and we won’t buy finished articles apparently.

Off the field we have clarity but in terms of the actual playing side of th8ngs are we just trying to wing it!? Stupidity

I think somewhere in the middle of both your opinions on the players is correct.

Poch talks a bunch of nonsense week after week. One week it's this the next week it's the opposite.
One week he is totally committed and the next week inferring different things.
We surmise that he wants to spend this or buy that player we have no idea.
We had one creative player.Poch never insisted on another one.
He just wants tough and tall defenders by the bushel. I think he is limited with one idea

Poch plays Winks as the lone DM against Bayern. He threw everything forward and its correct that Ndombele hit some great through balls but Poch left Winks by himself.
This one he leaves Winks on the bench, puts Dier back to where Winks was during the Winks and has nobody helping Dier with Ndombele going forward.
Poch knows Ndombele now cannot play as a box to box with his lack of stamina so again we are exposed

I think he and the players are frustrated at always being two or three players short of being able to compete in a Club that can afford to make the necessary investment. He's not happy, they're not happy and it shows in the football from both the manager and the players.

Dont say your committed though. Dont go through the motions.Dont pretend to be courageous.
When you havent put yourself on the line with Levy with your job on the table to force getting what you need, this is not courageous and he is STILL playing the game. Still pretending all is ok and he is having just a hissy fit.Be brave like you talk Poch.
But he hasn't.He thinks he is a manager in a car factory not a one of special manager.Yes Sir Mr Levy.
Tell Levy straight if you have a better idea and put the fucking job on the line for it
