One question. No patronising tone meant. Were you a spurs fan before Daniel Levy arrived? If not, I doubt you ever would've been one if not for Daniel levy. We were looking like mid-table mediocrity forever more before he arrived and doubt we'd have been on many overseas fans' radar if not for him.
Ah yes the grass isnt always greener thing. No it is not. But cant it be the case that ENIC has run its course and cant/arent willing to do what is required to take us to the next level?

If we see the blasted diamond against Brighton then Poch is digging his own grave. Whereas if he genuinely has the best interest of both the players and the club at heart and gets down off his high horse and plays to the players strengths then I can see a positive outcome, if not then he has to go.

Possibly, yes. But new ownership is not the sort of thing you can choose is it? Whoever buys the club is who we end up with. Chances are we'll be worse off than we are now. Levy's method of (frustratingly!!) slow and steady progress makes it more likely we'll end up in a better position than if taking the risk of being bought by a random who's intentions we know nothing of.

So yesterday I went back and looked through most of our Premier League fixtures from last season.

He used it first against Utd at OT, with Dier DM. Now we won the match 3-0, we were unusually clinical and that probably made Poch think this is the system to use but I remember that game and we were not 3 goals better.

He then reverted back to our usual shape but went back to the diamond against Liverpool at home in mid September, which we lost 2-1. He reverted to 4-2-3-1 for the following game away to Brighton, which we won.

He brought back the diamond at home to Chelsea in late November. To me this is the only game where it really worked and biggest reason was we caught Chelsea off guard and swarmed Jorginho. We won 3-1 but should have won by more. Interesting to note that Dier was DM in this diamond so we had a bit more security about us, our diamond was Dier, Sissoko, Eriksen, Alli behind Kane and Son.

He then kept the diamond for following match, away to Scum. We lost 4-2 and to be blunt we got battered and didn't deserve anything despite leading at one point.

Didn't use the diamond again until away to Everton with no DM. We win 6-2. We were extremely clinical going forward but those who remember this game will know we went behind early and always looked vulnerable defensively. Luckily for us Everton were worse.

The first time he used the diamond against 'lesser' opponents was Wolves at home. He decided to use the diamond again with no DM. We lose 3-2 and get battered second half.

Also played the diamond at home to Man Utd and at half time we are losing 1-0, having played very poorly. We switch to 4-2-3-1 and proceed to dominate the second half but we can't find a goal and De Gea is unbelievable.

We used the diamond at home to Leicester, where we somehow beat them 3-1 despite them being superior to us.

A couple of games later we use the diamond again, this time away to Saints. We lose 2-1.

Away to Pool we use 3 atb and change it up at halftime to the diamond but we still lose 2-1.

The next time we use the diamond is at home to West Ham and we lose 1-0.

We used the diamond at home to Villa this season. We were losing until we changed to 4-2-3-1 at half time which brought about our comeback.

There is a clear correlation when looking at our bad form over the past 10/11 months and its ever since we stopped consistently playing our balanced 4-2-3-1 and started playing this diamond (or 3 atb which no longer works for us either).

As far as I could see, the only clean sheet we have kept with the diamond was the very first time we used it, away at OT.
Wow thats amazing anaylsis. But only highlights the current madness even further. There is no doubt that poch and his team have this anaylsis to hand with technology. I mean im sure its all computerised and if you wanted to review the teams preformance in different formations, certain times in a game, home ir away its all threre. So why is he persistent on the diamond. only thing i can think of is he is accomodating players that are provided to him rather than his players purchased to suit his ststem. His comments this summer was so telling ' i am not the manager'.

Scenes when we stick with him, he guides us to 6th and then joins Madrid in the summer, taking half the team with him. Giving a crotch chop on the way out

Such a great point that so many fail to consider. Always a risk

Tomorrow's match will be a very good indicator to see the lads commitment to Poch. With international games coming up, those selected will likely not bust a gut for him for fear of injury if they are losing faith. We shall see.

Honestly, I'd say just go with youth and the growing pains of starting them. Be done with Toby, Jan, Eriksen, Aurier and Rose.

Time to go with the players with something to prove. I honestly think that's the only option for Pochettino at this point.
Our U23 team has only won twice and lost 4 times in 8 games this season and finished 9th out of 12 last season, so maybe not.

More so referring to youth in Sanchez, Foyth, KWP, Sessegnon (when fit) and at a push, a player like Skipp. Didn’t think I needed to spell that out, but see how it may have been misconstrued as throwing in youth level players.

Don’t understand this post. The U23s are for producing players for the first team squad and we play young players to develop them. Any trophies are nice to have but are not necessary. I can remember several seasons when we did well with our Reserve and lower teams but no one really can through to star in the first team squad.

Dear Poch
its simple really, the players who are winding down their contract would not want to get injured.
How the hell you expect them to fight for you on the pitch? These guys wont go in for a 50 50 challenge. They wont press, Its more about conserving their hamstring.

Why the heck do you insist on playing them???

The players "running down" their contract all played against Southampton and gave it their all, and have done in every match this season.

Good press conference from Mopo imo.
I actually don't mind sissoko at RB
I personally think he does a better job that Aurier and Sanchez. As for KWP, he is not consistent imo.
It's actually the midfield that concerns me.
Here's hoping for a better tactic and team selection
