Only if you’re determined to act like a spoiled child. Football teams lose football games, sometimes to teams in weaker leagues.

Poch has had punching above our weight for fours years running. I’m not going to start ‘calling him out’ because we were knocked out of a competition no big club gives a shit about.

Er, Pep won it last year....and the year before that, and Mourinho won it the year before that...

Still loved the football under Redknapp! The board not giving him the signings he needed when it counted, prevented that being our best period!

Partially agree, but for the fact that he often did give him the signings, but in his final season he was anything but long term (from potential jail time, to wanting England, to suggesting he wouldn't extend), so I don't blame them for not investing in his type of players.

Admire your sentiment, but City have won it three out of the last four seasons. They seem to take it seriously.

Winning is habitual.

City can afford to though (literally). Every top club rotates, but when City rotate they bring in Jesus, Mahrez, Cancelo and Gungodan.

We bring in a shot Wanyama and a few promising kids.

Boggles my mind that so many say they don't give a shit about this competition. How do you develop a winning mentality if you never win anything.

Poch wasn't the reason we didn't win tonight. We were constantly getting into good positions only for the players to be careless with simple passes.

"get"?

Think we're a bit past that. Elements within the club have been agitating to get Poch out since August. Now the fans are on board.

We will sack the bloke that gave us the identity we now expect. What happens next is anyone's guess.

I meant at the ground.

I’ve already mentioned Allegri and Mourinho. Both clear and obvious upgrades. They might not come but might be worth sounding them out.
I would hope that our profile has risen enough to interest most top managers out there.

I'd like to see a poll put up to gauge the site's opinion on whether we should pull the trigger or not. Would be interesting to see the numbers.

I can see how we can improve. Play a fucking DM and get back to basics.

We haven't played well, but we reached the CL final at that time and we haven't actually done as badly as some people say.

Poch deserves the season, he has earnt time and we are not going down or anything. Any fan would think we are batshitcrazy to want to get rid of Poch, and tbh I think we would. This btw is a season start that when before Poch came would be perfectly fine. Imagine if we won against Leicester and Arsenal, both games we should have won. We would be sitting in third with the same points as City. If that consivable thing happened fans would be excited and talking about the title.

There are problems, mainly two or three. 1) defensive shape, 2) panic mentality 3)build up from the back. These are things that can be solved. Today Poch himself was almost certainly experimenting with solutions to 1 in particular. Funnily enough there actually was enough today to think that maybe three in the back is a solution. It created more width, we were very solid, admittedly towards a poor side and all that. Maybe it's not a solution but don't for a second believe he was playing three at the back as a response to colchester. This was an experiment for him. He is trying solutions. Give him time.
He’s had 5 yrs that a shocking excuse give him time his team selections and substitutions are shocking. Eriksen should never wear a spurs shirt again spoilt little prick. We are between Levy and Poch a fucking embarrassment gone back 15yrs. No away wins since Jan and 21 pts out of I believe 20 odd games that’s relegation fodder. Any other club he would be sacked.

Come on, we must still be strong fav on pens

You had to do it didn't you? How long have you been supporting Spurs? You make statements like that and the universe reacts = Eriksen takes first pen.

Just taking the piss man sorry! :p

We don’t have the right to not give a shit about this competition. I think it’s an insulting result to us fans. Can’t wait for Saturday...we need to get behind them but there’ll be a few ready to jump on any mishaps

First of all can people stop mentioning Alex Fucking Ferguson when mentioning Poch. Poch isn’t going to do what Alex Ferguson did, he was a one off. Poch isn’t going to suddenly turn us into a club who dominate English football. Its mental that people compare the two. Utter delusion.

Also, can people stop saying we need our new signings to settle before we judge Poch? What about the other 24 odd players in our squad who should be well engrained into a pattern of play and tactical system yet look utterly clueless? Do people seriously think our new players will come in and make a big difference when the whole squad are playing abysmally and showing huge signs of regression? Football doesn’t work like that. NDombele and GLC and a kid in Sess will not make fuck all difference to the side. Poch does not and should not get time to bed new signings in when the players he has had for years are playing so poorly.
The problem is there is no 'tactical system anymore.

But that is something that can be put right pretty quickly. 4-3-2-1 every game for the rest of the season and we finish top 4.
