Not been watching, but hardly surprising it’s been dull when we line up with 3 CB’s plus Wanyama and Skipp against a league 2 team.

Reminds me of the Newcastle game slow build no pace no zip and some of the passing pretty poor but Poch will be pleased because of the possession stats trouble is possession doesn't win games or cups.

0-0 but we’ve created some half chances. Parrott press well but if we’re being honest has been poor with the ball but maybe it’s just nerves. Start the same team in second half, if nothing has changed then bring on Lamela and Eriksen

People overreacting a bit here IMO. Not surprising given the results lately.

We've made 10 changes and been completely dominant. Yes, its vs Colchester and yes, we haven't scored, but you can only play the team in front of you. It's not like players look like they can't be bothered either.
I guess because poor performances like the first half here have been a recurring theme for us for quite a while now

Wonder what will happen if I put all of the over the top Poch haters on ignore. Will I be talking to myself from now on?

Will make the forum more enjoyable regardless instead of the RAWK DELUXE EDITION it's been since the Newcastle game

Shit me, I've only just realised that Dier's playing at the back. That's worrying when it sounds like he's the only one putting balls into the box.
I wasn't expecting a creative masterclass, with the team we've got but was hoping for a bit more from midfield,
The midfield we have put out is exactly as you would expect from it. It's incredibly defensive.

It's nothing to get depressed about, we are so dominant. But it's not a team with much creativity. Moura is trying too much, but trying. Dele is no way near as bad as people are making out, a few nice incisive touches, a few over hit passes, but he is at least trying to do something.

The problem, like always, is midfield. Or how it is set up, we struggle to go from the back into the attack. Now, in the past I think Poch has just set us out too focused on building from the back and failing to find other ways to bi pass the press. Today it's just because we don't have a single player who can really do that in the whole line up.

Often people blame the 'invisible' forwards for their performance, but sometimes the reason they seem to do nothing are because we are not getting the ball into dangerous areas enough.

Get son or lamela on, we dont need so many defensive minded players against fucking Colchester
Another sad indictment of Poch’s tactics, negative, dull, and nonsensical. Really worrying about this now as the stubbornness to pursue this diamond formation - which clearly isn’t working - is getting ridiculous. Not doing yourself any favours Poch.:X3:

My only concern is if one of those two get injured by a dodgy L2 reducer then we really will be fucked. Would put Eriksen on first.

Erisken has just checked out though, he just puts effort into keeping up his km run stats.
Maybe so the management can't question his attitude lol.
