To be honest, I can't stand the bloke and his style of play but part of me would want us to go all out for Mourinho purely to win something finally.

Although knowing Spurs we wouldn't win anything and we'd just get all the "lolz you can't even win with Mourinho" comments.

I'd have little problem with Mourinho if it meant winning things, problem is the shit you get with him if he doesn't (and sometimes still if he does) win things.

More and more I feel like I'd like someone to come in and work on our structure, tighten things up and just make us really hard to beat again. I really don't know if getting rid of Pochettino is the right or wrong thing to do but it feels like we're repeatedly seeing wrong things being implemented, which is frustrating.

If Pochettino walks or is pushed which I hope doesn't happen, then Brendan Rodgers would be my preferred choice. Although some of the experts in the Spurs fan base would not be happy.

How patronising. You should be very proud of such comments.
So he didn't write a book and court Real at the same time? How about the United job just after Christmas of this year? Keep pretending old Poch is all Unicorns and Rainbows.

Please not Eddie Howe if Poch goes... seriously we need a winner!
THis is what this side badly needs, someone who can do the dirty stuff and get some trophies. 2 trophies in nearly 30 years is appalling for a club of this size

Since beating Borussia Dortmund 3-0 at Wembley in February, our record is: P25 W8 D5 L12. That is relegation form. For a team that had the best defence and the best away record in Poch's first 3 seasons, we now have an away record that has no wins in it for a very long time and look as pourous defensively as any team in the league. We are a team in decline and something needs to change. Either the manager changes something himself or the chairman will have to. Poch deserves time, he's our best manager of the last 40 years, and has shown us loyalty. But Levy needs to tell him it's up to him to turn it around as the current personnel and system is not working.

Mate I mentioned this last season regarding how bad our defeats were for a club with top four aspirations, and certain members tried to ridicule me for mentioning it even going as far to say that defeats didn't matter because we had won a few more I kid you not.

LOL at this trite nonsense.

The same Poch who wrote a book and courted Real?

Do me a fucking favour.

I think it's also hyperbolic to imply that he's turned the around like we did a Man City (minus the money). AVBs half season aside, we were a top 5 side for years - we've been better, but it hasn't been the meteoroic difference that is implied.

Fact is, we improved year on year, but since we finished 2nd, we've started to return back to the start. Or current position isn't actually that far off our first Poch season.

We were ahead of the curve a few seasons back, with the pressing etc, whereas now we're behind it, trying all that playing from the back stuff that we blatantly can't do.

Fans are going to be understandable angry at Pochettino especially after a run of 8 months without an away win in the Premier League. Something is very very wrong, that team today is good enough to finish in the top 3.

I very much opine that Pochettino deserves time. I am very annoyed by a lot of his current mistakes, but ultimately he’s earns the right to a bad season, and I include failing to qualify for the champions league. Levy might disagree, but to my mind as long as Pochettino both wants to be here, but also has a plan to improve things (and he certainly has the tools available) he deserves not just time, but patience.

That said, I’m getting frustrated listening to the media rhetoric that it’s the club’s fault he’s not winning anything and that Spurs can only be nearly men but he can win big elsewhere... just like the players in place, he is very much part of the nearly men situation.

We'll be hard pushed to crack the top four.

The annoying thing is we only needed a few tweaks 14 months ago to be a proper title challenging team. We needed a proper DCM (with Wanyama and Dembele broken) and top drawer, aggressive, attacking FBs (to replace the Rose and Walker of WHL). But we couldn't shift the deadwood and Levy did not twist. And here we are 14 months later with a broken team in decline.

Put Mourinho in charge and we'll see Sanchez start over Verts every week, Wanyama and Dier form a double pivot in DCM and the football will be turgid. Mourinho's era has been and gone.
