I think we will do ok against the Broncos to be honest but only if our O can find some rythmn.

Thnik its just frustrating that we should be beating the Packers at home yet could only muster 3 points and made it so easy for them to shut us out which made them look better than they probably are.

Mitch needs to find his rhythm, he had some good games last year. The media out in Chicago are going overboard as usual.

Ever since he was drafted the Chicago media have been either all in or all out with him. Half the people think he's going to be the best QB the bears have ever had and won't hear a bad word against him regardless, and the other half have been calling him a bust since virtually the first time he suited up. Actually it's not even just the media, the people you speak to about town are just as bad. The guy is complete marmite for some reason.

I don't think he is a bad QB - finding a good one isn't easy and people/media love to play the 20/20 game after the fact. He has limitations by the looks of things but nothing that can't be game planned for. People are going over board in a tight game where he had chances to put points on the board. Nagy needs to own some of this, and hopefully they get it on track over the next three games.

I would say the play calling last night by the Bears was atrocious and Nagy deserves a huge amount of blame. I can't say that Trubisky is a bad QB but i can tell you he isn't an elite QB. The Bears should be able to tell you the same thing and should have the playcalling tailored to putting Trubisky into a position where he can succeed. They didn't do that and numerous times seemed to overthink what they were doing.

For example the first play of the game they lined up in a Wildcat, shifted to a shotgun then ran a play where the running back got a 1 foot pitch on a Jet sweep from the slot that he fumbled.....WHY? Why not just hand it off up the middle or hand it off on a jet sweep

The Bears lined Cohen up in the slot repeatedly and only ran the ball 13 times while throwing the ball 52 times. Trubisky isn't going to succeed throwing 52 times. The Running game isn't going to work with a productive back in the slot. Run the ball and help the defense, Mitch isn't Mahomes.

When you decide as a play caller you won't run against nickle and dime fronts with only three down linemen on the line for them, then yeah, you fucked up. Nagy needs to target the players (outside of Robinson) that give Trubisky the most amount of confidence/comfort. Miller was targeted once the whole game - he caught 7 TD's as a rookie last year while being banged up for periods of the season, that's a mistake. Cohen was used more in the slot instead - so where was Montgomery? Lots of questions but I think they are easily fixable.

Trubisky will need to stop locking onto one receiver - he reverted badly last night - and make better progressions otherwise it's a number 2 overall pick turning into nothing more than Kyle Orton.

I have faith and hope that the coaching staff figure it out on the O, we have enough key pieces on both sides of the ball to go back to the playoffs, just need the QB trending upward. Fingers crossed.

The Raiders are mad to play Brown. He's acting like a shit at a time when his money isn't guaranteed. Do they seriously believe he's going to start behaving once his $30m is guaranteed? This is the guy who stormed out of the training facility and skipped practice and team meetings before a must win game simply because he wasn't voted team MVP.

Wouldn't mind seeing Brown in Boston. The likes of Corey Dillon and Randy Moss tended to act out when things weren't going well on the field whereas Brown seems to be a conflict creator even when things are going well. Brown's got what he wanted - out of Pittsburgh, set to get more money than the Steelers were prepared to pay him and yet he's still unhappy, still sniping at the likes of JuJu on social media and causing problems for the Raiders despite them giving him what he wanted. The guy is idiotic enough to (allegedly) threaten to punch the Raiders GM at a time when the Raiders can still void his $30m contract. The Brown circus rolling into Boston could be hilarious.

The Brown circus in Boston would last no time at all.

The rule at Foxboro is basically do as you are told or you are gone. Moss and Dillon (now maybe Josh Gordon) were successful redemption projects but they also cut Haynesworth, Joey Galloway, Chad Brown and Chad (ocho-cinco) Johnson and countless others. Hell, in 2014 Jonas Gray ran for 200 yards and 4 TDs against the Colts and then was late to practice and the Pats basically dropped him off the planet.

They have traded draft picks for players and cut them in pre-season several times. A couple seasons ago they traded 2 mid/late round picks for Cassius Marsh and then cut him 6 weeks later to make room for a practice squad player.

If they picked up AB he would have a single chance and if he screwed up he would be out the door just like the rest.

I think if AB were to get cut he would end up someplace like Buffalo, Cincinatti or Miami.

The Raiders have released Brown. Hilarious that this drama started with a helmet.

First Martavis Bryant and now Antonio Brown. I don't think the Raiders are going to want to trade with the Steelers ever again

What a fucking farce this has been with Antonio Brown!

Just far too much of a prima donna but at least we've acted decisively now and not let this shit drag on into the season. That being said, our WR corp is worryingly light now.

Good luck to any team trying to tame Brown

Brown has signed a 1-year deal with the Pats worth $15m which includes a $9m signing bonus

I don't ask for much God but please make it so this move backfires spectacularly.

We'd all love to see it go pear-shaped for the Pats, but it won't happen. There's a strong team ethic there, as demonstrated by players taking lower salaries so that the club has enough to pay key players like Brady and so on, and improving their chances of winning the Super Bowl. (Yes, the ring's more important than a couple million more dollars to some players). If Brown buys into the team ethic and does his job properly, he'll be fine. If he doesn't, they'll turn him loose without hesitation.
