JJ was talking about the medical the other day. I'd say asking price was no issue based on that, don't let that stop your agenda though...

of course it won't, but thanks for your approval anyway. Like most I'd never discredit ITK, but I suggest you have a think about where it comes from before you pass it off as fact, ie your agenda.

How can the agent be greedy when he knows his client probably has knackered knees lol!

Shame we couldn’t shift him as would have been good for wage bill balancing.

I'm guessing he wanted a move so i'm a bit disappointed for him. Can't see him playing here. There's 5 CMs ahead of him in the pecking order.

We could've done with him yesterday. We have quality in midfield now but only Dier is really a recognised defensive midfielder. We looked far too open away to City as well. If Dier is out I wouldn't mind Wanyama starting on occassion, particularly in tough away games. The question is whether he can stay sharp with few games under his belt.

But that's a debate for another thread.....

I hope that I don't sound too thick asking this but is he really physically broken down now? Does he have a future with the first team if used correctly?

Rumours here in Scotland are that he’s up here and about to sign for Celtic.

Celtic however have a horrendous amount of wannabe ITK’s so its probably a lot of shite

Let's face it in a world of agenda driven itk JJ plays a straight bat. If you can take this comment as miss information then go for it.

Why is it so hard for us to sell players...

We shifted everyone I’d class as dead wood bar wanyama I’d say we did ok. Aurier still useful till January as obviously Eriksen. To answer question London on a great wage lovely working environment everyday. Would you want to leave ?

Aurier is clearly deadwood. The fact he doesn't even get selected when both Foyth and KWP are out surely indicates as much.

we could have done with him in his prime yep. Once Poch adjusted in the second half up at City though, the mids did much better- especially nD. Dier has been a loss, in the way he was able to step back to make it a 3 when we needed to and step out a bit when we didn't.

He didn't have a pre season though so maybe not match fit. Lo Celso hasn't started yet either and he wasn't even injured in the summer. I think an unfit Aurier starting in the NLD would have been a nightmare. Probably a red card waiting to happen.

I think it's because we've become more of a destination club. When you're offering decent wages, have a shiny new stadium/training ground and are regulars in the CL, players are less inclined to jump at the first opportunity. Man Utd have suffered with this for years with their squad becoming horribly bloated with average CBs and sub-standard squad players. The influx of cash to the Premier League only exacerbates the problem. The players know they won't get the same money elsewhere so are happy to twiddle their thumbs at a big name club for an extra year or two rather than forcing a move and taking a pay cut.

Well, that and Levy.

I doubt whether he'll get a spot in our squad of 23 when confirmed. I think he'd also struggle to pass a medical if he were to move on.

DOF is a direction I'd like us to take.

Despite all the good work Levy has done with recruitment and sales its time for a new approach.
