Oliver Skipp's time to shine. Loved Wanyama in the end, even if I said I'd rather we played Fazio at CDM when we were first linked with him. Hope he gets to chill and not totally fuck his knees for the rest of his life.
Knew you had a "Soufiane Boufal would be the best signing we could possibly make this summer" moment in you too, but good to see what form yours took.

Big Vic had fallen down the pecking order and with Ollie Skipp looking for game time, competing with Sissoko, Winks, Ndombele, Dier and Skipp for 2 or 3 CM berths would make it difficult for him to play.

Not only did the injuries restrict his game time, but he really looked off the pace every time he came back and was never really right.

Wish him the best.

There's worse things than having Vic for a bit longer.

Apparently sandro30 disagrees with this. So there are no worse things than holding on to him. I mean, cancer, aids, the plague??? No, having wanyama for just a bit longer at the club...

we don`t need to sell him the squad is small and injuries crippled us in the league last season

Irony is a fit Wanyama of 2 seasons ago is exactly who we need in front of the back four if Poch continues with this diamond formation in midfield.

Sadly I don’t think we’d ever see that version of Wanyama again.

No word from the club about him going then?

Seems the closest to leaving but nothing concrete yet. What’s the betting if he does go it will be on loan because of the injuries.
