An ex colleague and one of my best friends (even did a reading during my wedding ceremony) works at Mishcon de Reya, in their IP team (specialising in Art IP). Another person at this firm is an old lawyer I used to live by/ knew his daughter, who is very close with Levy/ Spurs and has been involved in many Spurs matters past and present. It’s taking every ounce of dignity I have not to pop him a quick message asking if he’s seen the name Dybala on any documents in passing today (he obviously wouldn’t have, but that’s how desperate I am).

What the hell has dignity got to do with things

This is the penultimate day of the transfer window ffs

that a yes? :p

haha - man nah - he is an absolute knob.

I mean yesterday he was citing examples of teams who are good at doing business early to have a 'dig' at Woodward buyign Maguire after two months of negotiations... he cited Spurs and Levy as being good at doing deals early

He is useless

If the deal has to happen ,it has to happen by tonight. If we dont get a agreement btw all parties to proceed in next few hours,no hope tomorrow.

EDIT : If the deal has to happen, "negotiations" has to be completed by tonight.

Mishcons do a load of their work; think they were on the stadium redevelopment. They used to have a box at WHL.

This gent (the old dude, not my mate) told me we were getting hunterlaar many a moon ago, you guys had been shown the paperwork too by someone else, and then it didn’t happen.

Everything else is reported to have been agreed. If so then this one could go right down to the wire

Whilst I don’t have any confidence this is going to happen, I don’t agree with that.

If the image rights truly are the only stumbling block then it could be resolved tomorrow. Deals can also be done subject to medicals which are conducted after the deadline.

What ended up happening? Did we get Huntelaar? I'm having trouble recalling the entirety of Spurs transfer history pre-Dybala-propaganda.

I’ve tried to maintain a stoic indifference to this absurd transfer for long enough, but reading that he has agreed personal terms has pulled me in.

It’s fucking happening. I can feel it in my cock vein.

Agreed doesn't mean anything. Everything has to be on paper. Its not simple to do a transaction like this- lot many details to be put on paper. Why do you think every South American player deal always takes time ?

If all parties have the negotiations done & agreed, only then anything offcial starts. Ofcourse our club would have done the necessary prep work already. But still window shuts at 1700, we only have 20 hours or so.
