Of course they have money, it's in their best interest for everyone to think they're skint. They've done a great job at convincing people.
They don't really though...

They're basically relying on what's most likely loans at this point and their financials will look incredibly screwy if they don't make CL again.

Praet to Leicester is a smart deal.

Wolves
Leicester
Everton will all threaten this year.
I think Wolves are going to suffer BIG time from Europe.

They played practically the exact same starting 11 all season which is completely unsustainable.

Yeah I think they’ll drop off unless they bring a few in before deadline day. Clubs under estimate the effect of that competition if they are new to it.

Plus you’d expect clubs to treat them with a bit more respect and not under estimate them.

Yeah apart from a couple of loans made permanent they've only signed Cutrone and Vallejo who look like potential first teamers. I don't think they have a deep enough squad to repeat 7th given how Leicester (even sans Maguire) and Everton have invested, but they have too much quality to finish much below 10th.

According to Sky, Everton have had a £30M bid rejected for Iwobi and are expected to return with an increased offer.

This is a bit of a nightmare. Simultaneously takes one of Arsenal's classic underperformers off their hands for a decent fee, swells their coffers and opens up a place in the squad for Coutinho.

Surely Everton can do better than Iwobi.

Selling Iwobi for that kind of money might even encourage them to go back with an improved offer for Zaha.

I just wonder who will be their defense. Aren't Leno, Bellerin and Holding still injured? Should be fun if they don't sign anyone else...

When was Leno injured?

As for the others, yep they're injured and I don't easily see someone else coming in for them. Least I haven't heard much. I don't see Upamencano moving to them. Leipzig don't need to sell and don't want to sell so don't see that one really happening.

I think they've already got their winger sorted in Pepe so that's unlikely.

West Ham are closing in on a deal to sign Basel striker Albian Ajeti for £8m, Sky Sports News understands.

"As per reports, Everton have seen a £30m bid for Arsenal winger Alex Iwobi rejected."

Is Iwobi worth £3m let alone £30m?!

Are Arsenal employing hypnotists in their negotiations this summer?! If that happens, Coutinho will be heading that way I have no doubt.

According to the BBC, by the way.
