The Coutinho loan doesn't really add up for me. Just doesn't strike me as the kind of deal Levy would ever consider. Don't know if it's just to create bit of noise/diversion for something else that is planned (Dybala maybe) but struggling to see us actually going for something like that.

Just saw the goats latest cryptic! It's the only 1i can guess. Big One doesn't mean a big name signing; we're giving a medical to that fat bastard Lukaku as part of the Eriksen deal ????

With an option to buy it makes sense in that it allows us to do other business within our transfer budget, bring Coutinho in, with the bulk of his fee going towards next years kitty.

So, sorry if this is out of place, but I'm an American trying to get up to speed with the lingo.

Is whats going on in here right now "scenes" or will that only happen after the signings actually happen and/or the window closes? :unsure:

It makes more sense with a option to purchase. Why would Coutihno want to go back to Barca now?
