For people who have been impressed with Tanganga I can tell you we have more on the way.

Most would have heard of players like Brooklyn Lyons-Foster and Luis Binks who are very much on my list of players I like the most and like to watch play.

But we have a few that are still very young but are very interesting CBs that could surprise a lot of people at some point down the line and they are Jubril Okedina who has a lot of tools for a big and powerful Lad,he is very good on the ball but he has that power and strength to go with it, he has played at RB a fair few times but I find he does not play well there and is better at CB.

Malachi Walcott is still very young but he is a massive Lad that has power and strength not as good on the ball as others but if this Lad can make the improvements he needs he could be a handful,he still has a lot of things he needs to work on.

Been looking up a bit of info on Luis Binks that I did not know until last night his Dad played Non-League football for Chatham Town and retired from football at the age of 30 so he could help his son and other things as well.

Brooklyn Lyons-Foster is hands down the best CB we have on the ball and he can play a number of positions very well,he has played as a CB,LB.LCB,RB,CDM and he has played well in every position and he can play in a back three no problem, only thing stopping his is his size and I am not talking about height.

Eyoma is a player that people who watch him often are split on I am not a fan but others are and I do think the club do rate him.

December 15 last season Eyoma made the bench for the first team in our 1-0 win at Burnley on the same day Tanganga was playing for our u23s in a away 2-1 win at Manchester City,Just goes to show how fast things can change in football Eyoma gets injured and Tanganga takes advantage just like Eyoma did last pre season when Tanganga was out injured.

There are so many more player that people in the youth thread could tell you about because they know who the players are.

Just remember I am a Spurs fan first and I do not consider myself to be any kind of expert just a Spurs fan who watches a lot of football live.
On a forum like this, that's all you can ask for.

We all see different things in different players at all levels, but for someone like me who doesn't get to follow like others do on here when it comes to the youth ranks any information is useful.

Appreciate that mindset because the amount of people with 0 qualification who talk down and in such absolutes on twitter and with their blog because they watched a few under 15 games is ridiculous, so appreciate the refreshing attitude.

You and many others (over here at SC) provide very interesting and valuable info of the youth players/ sides for those SCers who do not reside in England and rarely get to watch the youth sides plays.

I’d like to thank you and the others for sharing the feedback that you have provided and look forward for more posts on the youth players/squads. (y)

Report: Spurs want pre-season star Tanganga to sign another contract

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly moving to keep Japhet Tanganga for the long term.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, Tottenham Hotspur are pressing for defender Japhet Tanganga to sign a new contract with the club.

Spurs enjoyed a decent summer transfer window, landing Jack Clarke, Tanguy Ndombele, Giovani Lo Celso and Ryan Sessegnon to bolster Mauricio Pochettino's squad both for now and for the future.

Keeping players is key too, but with Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen both out of contract at the end of the season, there are concerns about the heart of the Tottenham defence.

Another centre back in the final year of his deal is youngster Tanganga, who only penned a one-year extension back in June according to Transfermarkt, keeping him at Tottenham.

Now, it's claimed that Spurs want to keep Tanganga for the long term, handing him a second new contract in a matter of months – but this time, for much longer than a year.

Tanganga, 20, starred for Spurs in pre-season, stepping up to turn in superb performances against the likes of Manchester United, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.

The centre back should now be in and around Pochettino's first team, joining Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Davinson Sanchez and Juan Foyth in the centre back ranks.

With a long-term deal in the offing and question marks over Alderweireld and Vertonghen, Tanganga will have a golden chance to establish himself as a Spurs first-team player, and become the latest academy star to thrive under Pochettino – a surprise U-turn given that Calciomercato claimed he had switched agents ahead of leaving the club.

Tanganga Skipp Parrott spine of a team for next decade. Chuck in KWP Foyth sanchez Sessegnon winks Ndombele Lo Celso Clarke that’s a excellent crop of U23 players. Crazy to think you can include Dele as well.

When Toby leaves I really can't see us signing another CB, between Sanchez, Foyth, Dier and Tanganga I think there's enough there and I reckon Poch will be happy with that.

I know Luis’ uncle, and my partners daughter knows Luis from school. He’s been highly thought of down here since a young age, very glad to see a local boy doing so well, especially for Spurs.

You might also add Eyoma in that list

Kane will be first choice striker for at least 5 more years, IMO.
