Zero way this will happen. Wan Bissaka has inflated the price for all prem fullbacks. Plus there is no reason for Everton to sell. Makes zero sense for them to downgrade to an aging injury prone left back.

Depends if they could use extra cash to strengthen other areas.

Rose isn't exactky wakening them, just possess different qualities.

Digne is quality. Excellent delivery too. But I think we will sign sessegnon and develop him as the left back with Davies starting there

Everton badly need a CF. Their owner has fluttered his eyes at Diego Costa (who I doubt is attainable but shows their thinking). They may decide to cash in on Digne to strengthen up front.

Can't see this happening in a million years. Everton are investing big in the team and have no need to sell. He was voted their player of the season and is a fan favourite. The amount they'd ask would be something absurd like £60 million as he's got 4 years left on his deal. I just had a look on the main Everton forum and the last post in the Digne thread was in early July so they haven't had a whisper at their end.

Anyone fancy selling Son for a knockdown price or trade deal? No takers? Then why the hell would Everton do the same?

They've invested a lot of money already and if they can get a quality Left back by sacrificing there's and getting an another 10/15 mill to boot that they can reinvest elsewhere then it could make sense. I'd rather we got for Firpo though.

Still seems like wishful thinking to me, especially when Sess is allegedly all but done. I would be pleased if we somehow pulled it off, but there's too much going against us on this one IMO, especially given how much we need to spend in other areas.

Agree,i've liked what i've seen of Digne. Also think you are correct with Sessengnon playing as a left back. His defending isn't bad at all, but like KWP will benefit greatly from some Poch coaching. Attacking wise, he'll be a breath of fresh air as he'll actually score and set up plenty.

I think we might be 1 transfer window away from getting world class fullbacks.

Poch said this is a 5 years plan so we start with building a foundation in the midfield and at the pointy end, as well as a Toby replacement.

We may just have to do with Aurier, Foyth, Davies, KWP and Sess for this season as players like Digne are gonna cost similar amounts to some of our midfield targets.

We cant rebuild the playing roster in one transfer window and I'm sure Poch wont be interested in plan Bs or plan Cs so that we end up with more squad players that we cant get rid of.

Atletico also spent like 50m on Llorente, and are looking at spending similar on james
God knows where they’re getting the cash.

The Griezmann cash went on Joao Felix. They’re 2019 turnover was only €300m and like us, they’re paying for a new stadium.

They sold rodri to city for 70m or so. Didn't they also sell that Hernandez bloke to Bayern?

Yep. Transfermarkt has them £100m net gain before taking the Trippier and new CB fees into account. They probably have enough for an Eriksen or James without breaking even!

Godin, Felipe Luis, Juanfran contracts all ran out so they’ve cleared there wages and sold Griezman, Rodri and Lucas Hernandez for nearly 300m combined. Partey, Diego Costa kalanic couple others could still possibly leave. Big rebuild

Nah they have cash. Just don't see this happening as much as people on here will make up fantasy reasons why it might.

I agree to be fair but we have got Rose to offer them. We'd still have to stump up a fair amount on top though so it will be a difficult deal.

Yeah struggling to see why Everton would give us Digne for Rose. Love rose to bits but his delivery isn’t great and Dignes is top class

Totally agree. I dont believe people think things through logically before posting or listening to rumours.
