I watched him a bit the other day when Denmark played. I actually thought Larsen looked a bit more lively. He did beat the first man with the four corners I saw him take. In and out swingers.

Tottenham monitoring £15million-rated Denmark Under-21 starlet Andreas Skov Olsen

Mauricio Pochettino is keen on the Danish winger who scored 23 times for his club in 2018-19

Tottenham Hostpur are monitoring £15million Denmark Under-21 sensation Andreas Skov Olsen.

The Danish winger, who plays for FC Nordsjælland, has won a string of admirers across Europe after a hugely impressive campaign last season.

The 19-year-old scored 19 league goals and 23 in all competitions during the 2018-19 campaign

He has also taken his form onto the international stage, scoring for his country’s Under-21 side in their 3-1 win over Austria last week.

He only played a total of 92 minutes for the Danes in Italy, with them exiting the tournament despite two wins in their three matches, but starred when handed the opportunity by coach Niels Frederiksen.

The young Dane is entering the final year of his contract at Nordsjælland, who face having to cash in now, or risk losing their prized asset for nothing in 12 months time.

Olsen has also been linked with a move to domestic rivals FC Copenhagen, but admitted a switch was unlikely as Under-21 teammate Robert Skov is already there in his favoured position.

"Yes, I heard a little about them having interest in any case", Olsen told Danish daily BT, when asked about FC Copenhagen.

"The good thing about it is they are in Denmark too. They are the largest club in Denmark.

"But I see no reason to think about it before I have seen Robert sign a contract somewhere else.

"So I haven't really thought about that anymore."

Sky Sport Italia: about to sign for Bologna or Genoa (can't remember which...)

Edit: medical done at Bologna
Half a decent season and he'll be worth triple whatever the fee is. Wish we'd make more of these signings, Clarke is a step back in the right direction but with prospects you tend to have to throw a lot of shit at the wall for some to stick.

I think the Sessegnons still fall into the prospect category, so that could well be two more to come in yet. Plus, there was the mystery youngster(s) that Herc and Val mentioned.
It does sound like were heading in the right direction, it's just that a lot less news leaks from the club nowadays.

Sure I saw yesterday the fee was only £5m. Should have been worth a gamble.
These are the sort of signings the likes of Monchi and Henrique have made careeea of , buying players like this multiple times in the hope that 1-2 pay off and hit £20/30/40m, which more than covers the outlay on those that don’t make the grade. Even at £5m, and failure will still likely recoup for little to no loss.
Skov Olsen appeared to have the frame to end up as a CF at some point, with real technique striking a ball.
Elmas is the other one worth a look at. CM with a great engine, tenacity, and ability to carry the ball forward.

He was advised by the Danish national team coach to not make too big of a step up out of the Danish league. Which is probably sage advice all considering.
