If we could sell Tripps and put that money towards GLC or similar, I’d be ok with Serge and KWP being our RBs.
After Ndombele I’d still prioritise another midfielder over RB provided the CM was high caliber.

Unless we’ve got a chance at getting Atal, he’d be great.
I think Serge, KWP and Foyth would just about see us through the season if can't bring in anyone of the requisite quality. Have a bad feeling it would come back to bite us in the big games though.

Agree. Particularly if we have Sissoko and NDombele in midfield, to help out the defence.

I think Aurier's form last season went a bit underappreciated because he had such a stop/start season with all his injuries. He played really well in the CL and was unfortunate not to get a solid run in the team with all the injury problems.

If Aurier were able to remain fit I think we could make it through next season, rotating KWP and Foyth in as necessary against lesser opponents, but with the number and frequency of muscle injuries he's picked up it would be taking a big risk. If Atal is available for £34m as reported I can't understand why we wouldn't be in for him.

There is still a real possibility of Aurier coming good, I reckon.

In terms of sheer athleticism he’s probably our top player, he’s fast, powerful and strong. Just needs to work on not being such a nutcase who makes awful decisions on the pitch.

Sort that element of his game out and I think there’s a real gem of a talent there.
He's not absolute mustard and doesn't have the explosiveness I thought he would have when he arrived but I thought Aurier was generally fine last season and had a better season than his first. He seems to have cut out those rash challenges and we've always looked a bit more solid with him playing. I think his crossing has arguably been as good as Trippier's last season too. I remember a couple of wonderful balls in away at Newcastle and for Vertonghen's goal against Dortmund.

I find it bizarre that Trippier was consistently preferred to him last season after some shocking performances. It's even more bizarre now because he seems to be the one we'd be happy to shift. It may just be that there is more interest in Trippier though. I can't think why though when Aurier is a couple of years younger and a better player.

Aurier KWP combination for next season will be fine imo as long as Trippier is sold. People mentioning Aarons not convinced, we have a brilliant right back in the makings thrown into doubt because Pochettinho hardly used him last season.

Aurier being made first choice could become consistent and if he shows that CL form he'll be very good for us.

Aurier is not good. Extremely inconsistent focus and effort. Very little quality going forward. If we are relying on him as RB1 it is a huge mistake.

He had injuries last season like many of our players. He is much more defensively better than Trippier and when he was fit playing CL I thought Aurier did well....we'll just wait and see what's going to happen

Could be. Hope you are right. There was an EPL game a week or two before the Dortmund game that scarred me. Aurier got hauled off at halftime and it was the worst, lowest effort, most embarrassing performance I’d ever seen from a Spurs player and I’d have been perfectly happy for that to be the last 45 mins he ever played for us.

Regarding Aurier I think there's a good player in there and I certainly think he could come good consistently and be a lock in the starting lineup. But idk that I feel safe betting on him and KWP for a full season.

How can you say he's not consistent when he never actually plays consistently?

I'd love to be able to judge him over a complete season but the fact is he hasn't completed one for us yet as he is either injured or rotated.

Hearing Palace still keen on KWP as the Wan-Bissaka replacement.
Unless we are actually open to offers for KWP and Palace bid a massive offer for him, I wouldn't be willing to do them any favours because they certainly don't let their players come to us on the cheap

If we have genuine interest in actually buying Zaha then we need to leverage their interest in KWP.

In hindsight, we should've offered Aurier as a part of a deal for Bisaka
