Decent showing from England U21 players against France, but surprisingly the most errors in giving away possession seem to be by AWB. Not looking a £50m defender on this showing.

I was just thinking of writing similar..

First 45 he's looking a bit of a mix of Aurier and Walker, in trying to use pace or last ditch tackles to get himself out of trouble.
I must admit I've not seen that much him at Palace but so far tonight, he looks very average.

Agreed. Looked off the pace and most of his passes were 30 yards backwards.

Impressed with choudary looks decent young holding midfielder. Leicester certainly have some decent midfielders.

Value must have dropped tonight - poor all round the pitch, capped off with own goal.

A worrying performance from him tonight.

Not great at all. Its only one game but I do wonder if the potential move is playing on his mind.

That’s the first time I’ve properly watched him and paying close attention

He was woeful, just one game I know but it would have even been a shocking performance for Serge

He was fast, that’s about all I can say as a positive

He had a slight improvement in the second half with two clearances but then dived in yet again, to score an own goal when the ball looked to be in the keepers hands.
As I said earlier, I've not seen much of him for Palace but if they expect 50 million quid + based on tonight, there must be far better out there available.

He looked like an Aurier imitation to me, diving in all night and hoping that pace would help him out.
Not for me, thanks..

On the flip side I thought Henderson looked quite decent in goal for England and Ikone really looked a huge threat in spells on his left foot.

Maybe he isn’t actually poised to be the greatest defender in world football, and is actually just a young player with talent, coming off a season in good form for a team that very much suit his play style.

After tonight’s game and the fee that Palace wants, it’s (don’t) Wan-Bissaka for me now.

Love when people make decisions on players in one game in a u-21 tournament vs how they performed for a whole season in the best league in the Europe.

Didn't think he had a good match today. He played his teammates into trouble a few times simply passing the ball out from the back. He also looked really unsure and ungainly on the ball. I know a lot of it can be put down to nerves and inexperience but if we were going to shell out £50m for a RB I would hope they were a lot more polished than what AWB showed today.

It’s the flip side of people watching, at most, three Palace games and deciding “pay anything they want and we’ll be set at RB for a decade”. Both are silly.
