money is money, FFS.Honestly can'tbe bothered with you anymore. Prize money is not pure wages and trying to make out is makes for a tiresome discussion.

money is money, FFS.
of course it is if you are profitable.Yes my company changing the financial structure of where they direct their funds is the same as me giving my wages to someone else.
Edit: FFS, in before the 5 minutes.
his decision, not yours. did he give it to women's football?
of course it is if you are profitable.
I must have stopped getting notifications for this after about 2 pages.
What have I missed?
So I put the cat among the pigeons and they then spent 2 weeks missing the pigeonsNothing. Going round in circles as usual.

Sounds like my wifes shitty cat.
You probably missed the fact that your original post/thread title about 'wage parity' is totally misleading and bears very little relation to the linked article and what female players are actually asking which is improved prize money and better funding from FIFA not parity/equality.I must have stopped getting notifications for this after about 2 pages.

Bearing in mind FIFA are a not for profit organisation whose mission statement is to invest in and grow the game 'for all' regardless of gender, then investing more money into the women's game is an essential if they are serious about trying to achieve this mission.
But rather than supporting this, there are some people who actually argue that FIFA, one of the richest organisations in the world which pays it's own employees millions in salaries/expenses and has been exposed for large scale bribery and corruption, that currently has 2.7 billion cash reserves (after already giving billions to the men's game), shouldn't give women actually playing the game even a tiny fraction more of that money. Bewildering.
There are several posts from myself and @dontcallme @nailsy @Archibald&Crooks which go into more detail about the article itself and what is actually happening rather than just pushing a certain narrative.
so they have two jobs. one with their club and one with the national team . you are certainly asking for the national teams to use the mens earnings to subsidize the women. so how many times have you done that? given up some of your wages? Ive actually done that ands its a bottomless pit.
Prize money is how much the players get paid though and nothing to do with investment.
The USA women's team have been bringing in more money than the men's team, which is why they've been asking for equal pay. I'm not getting into it again though - read the articles that have already been posted in this thread.
No, the prize money goes to the federations who decide how to use it. Some of it probably gets paid to the players.
I'm not sure how it works for all of the squads, but the USA squads get paid an amount for being selected in the squad. The men's team gets about $32K a person more than the women's team despite less successful and generating less revenue. Apparently a cereal bar firm stepped in to pay the difference just before the tournament started.
Can you show me the bit where it says the money is paid to the players?
The French men's players didn't get over a million pounds each for winning the world cup.
http://money.com/money/5335909/france-just-won-the-world-cup-heres-how-much-their-players-get/
The president of the French Federation, Noël Le Graët, has said his athletes will get 30% of the cash they earn. Each player was guaranteed a bonus of €280,000, or about $330,000, for making it to the final, according to BFMTV. So they’re at least taking home that much.
Lol, I get it now, you are bored, maybe go out for a walk or something because I think this discussion has exhausted itself and it gets tedious repeating the same stuff.Gives us something to do.
It's not just the players though is it? Mbappe got £350k which he donated to charity. You have all the support staff etc...
So the support staff are going to get the other 70%?
What Mbappe does with his money is up to him. Its irrelevant to the discussion.
