Is DM Marsh's best position? Could we see him taking Wanyama's spot in the team?

Personally, no as he isn't of the quality of where we are at the moment

I know people, think well poch sees these guys in training and so he is a better judge of ability however, whilst being a worker/busy bee

Marsh whilst be an academy player, isn't a player at all we would be thinking about yet if he didn't have that connection to the club(he could all of sudden just click and play a level up similar to livermore, who was below average on loan and average for the academy)

Whilst people think Onomah isn't good enough, he on the other hand should be getting a chance as he shown he has attributes at a high level already. That doesn't mean his all round game is great but he can do things at a level higher than people in our first time albeit they are just a few things. Dribbling on the ball, his forward vision passing and also a good reader of the game for a CM.

Of course he doesn't suit poch's ethos

I think with Marsh they basically must think they could get him a league 1 loan and then a move and maybe make £1-2m off him. I think anyone they release they just see as a totally lost cause and not worth the effort. Players like marsh and Harrison they must think they can make a few quid off.

Cheers for this, I appreciate the insight! Seems the new contract is more likely a reward for his patience and work ethic.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha a million. He won't start a game of league football in his life.

A million off a league one club is basically expecting him to be the best player in the league

don't know if i'd go that far but if he makes a career for himself in league 2 then he will have done well imo. giving him a new contract doesn't bother me but at the same time i don't really get what we're playing at, just seems that as long as you're a grafter then with poch you've already got one foot in the door regardless of ability.

How many times have you seen Marsh play?
I'd be lying if I said
live more than twice
But he's 20 and on the fringes
of the Spurs squad
with a reputation for toughness
versatility and of captain material.

I know a player
who's being prematurely
written off completely
when I see one.

There are still people
dining on their underpants
and hats
for writing off HK
in the same way.

The only point of comparison
I'm prepared to make
at this time.

I've watched both of the names you mention live at youth level about 30 times. They're absolutely poles apart.

Rhino you know I love you mate but I just can’t see how he can be that bad. He’s been training with the seniors for months. Pochettino hasn’t been shy in ditching youth players he hasn’t thought good enough so he must see something.

You'd be surprised at some fees league 1 and 2 players are going for right now.
My bad, I read the post as sell him to a league one club after a loan, which I was like aint no club going to sign him for a million in that league

That doesn't make him good. Poch clearly favours a type of player and that's one that does have a high workmate as opposed to being more technically or mentally gifted
