Three weeks of preparations. Even a first minute penalty probably wasn’t on the mind. Pretty please with my excellent analysis right now considering I don’t know where I am. One day I will get home

Why isn’t a lot more being made of the penalty decision. It’s utterly ridiculous that was given as a penalty 29 seconds into the biggest game in European football.
No complaints about the penalty. It was a penalty. UEFA rules agree. We'd be screaming for the decision if it were us. 29 seconds into whatever game makes no difference. Just wish Sissoko hadn't raised his arm to point when and where he did. We can't take it back.

Liverpool were probably the worst team we’ve played this season in the CL (the way they played today). Such a massive opportunity missed. That’s what hurts the most tonight. If they played well I could have handled this defeat but they were there for the taking. So disappointed.

Maybe people are sick of us bombing out ALL the time.

We have won fuck all since 08 - nothing.

Finals, semis ALL LOST.

Something like eight FA semis, EIGHT.

The club is business first, football second - yet we pay top money for the football.
Why are there posters on here acting like they have been touched inappropriately. Bloody hell get a grip.

That is compete and utter bollocks. It hits his chest and then bounces on to his arm. In no way shape or form is that a penalty

If Danny rose was a pen then Sissoko is pen too. Seems if the ball hits any part of the arm inside the area stopping a shot or pass In The CL then it's being given.
Just weirdly unfortunate

Don't think we would have scored tonight regardless. When Dele, Kane and eriksen are so off its really crippling

Sebastian Larson? I went to that game. Horrible.
yes. Crystal clear in my mind because afterwards I was so upset I went out to my garage and just started sweeping the floor. I was sweeping and mumbling to myself and my wife came out - sensing I was upset - and asked me if I was ok. All I could get out was a growl of "I dont how much more of this I can take!".

This should have never been a penalty - a not-dangerous cross that had no goal-scoring opportunity whatsoever, which by the way may have been intentional to hit the arm, on the edge of the box with so many players already in it was replaced with a penalty kick with 11 yards from goal and no other player to interfere. Apparently there is no difference between intentional handball aiming to prevent a goal from happening and unintentional one! That was a day time robbery.

It was very strange as it didn’t seem to go to VAR, seemed to go body to arm, yes if for us would have been shouting for it but not expecting to get it, but as I said looked like it was the ref gave it and that was it.

My emotion towards the game is numbness. Mildly annoyed and sad, but neither at great levels. It was an awful game between two teams who played to less than 50% of their respective levels. Poor final.

However, the memory I have of this Champions League campaign is overriding joy. I will forever have the glorious memory of the semi final. That will never leave me, trophy or not. It was absolutely heroic for us the make the final. Need to take every positive from this and build. Hopefully it's a building block and not a lost stone.

Sorry but I hate this attitude. Unless you win the final then it’s pointless being there. Absolutely gutted and will be for the rest of the summer.

This is the worst I've ever felt.
Really? How long have you followed Spurs? Not followed for all the years where we've never played Champions League football let alone made the final? All the years of mid table and out of cup competitions early. All the UEFA cup campaigns that ended early despite playing pretty average opponents. The times we flirted with relegation.

I honestly feel runners up of the Champions League is the best thing we've done since 84. I was born in 84 too so this is the best we've done in my time following the club. I've never felt better myself.

Danny left an arm out while trying to block a shot which by the new rules means he made himself bigger with his arms to gain an advantage. Moussa has his arm up already before it was kicked because he was gesturing to a teammate, if that’s a pen we’re heading down a crazy path

To each their own. If you dont have great memories of this CL campaign then I feel sorry for you.

And Sissoko certainly made himself bigger with his arm extended out fully, regardless of his intention.

If Henderson had done that I'd be screaming for a pen
