Must be so amazing for the players to even just be preparing for such a match, something they may have never thought they'd experience at Spurs.

I've somehow calmed down as the match has gotten closer, I think my anxiety primarily came from it just being so far away. It was strange but my nervousness kicked in almost as soon as the final whistle went against Ajax, thoughts of how worried I'd be watching the final hit me immediately. Thing is even if we win, you know it's going to be 90 minutes of shitting yourself. I don't think it's the type of match we'll feel like we've won until the final whistle has hit.

I just really, really hope we don't make life easy in any way for Liverpool and by that I mean by conceding in the first 10 minutes or leaving plenty of space in behind and out wide.

Just hoping for something magical.

Regardless of which way it goes, at least I'll feel like I can move forward with life again afterwards :D

I know exactly what you mean. It's all consuming!

Bumped into my Ars* supporting mate today and he said that as much as he hates Tottenham, he kinda hopes we win because he hates Liverpool fans more ?

Is it too soon for the nervous excitement to kick in? Gonna need to keep busy tomorrow otherwise it'll be bad by the time ko comes round.

Appears that there is an expectation that Liverpool will win, everyone saying it is close but only JJ backing us. Important thing is the belief in the players that they can win it.

Dare to do, dare to dream. I think there will be tears either way. COYS

In 24 hours I'll be in Tottenham for the biggest game in my lifetime. Christ. Whatever the result tomorrow, reaching this final is a major turning point for our club. Win or lose, I am proud as hell of these boys.

I just wish it wasn't Liverpool we where playing. Losing to Real or Barcelona would be disappointing, but acceptable. Losing to Liverpool would be, well... I think I'll have a week long hiking trip without my phone if that happens.

Fortunately we'll win, though, so it doesn't matter

I can’t lie I just want this final to be done with. I have barely slept for a week, I’m panicking every 20 minutes, my heart is going crazy every time I think about the game, I try to think of something else but it’s impossible, the wait is killing me

We await your predictions for Saturday then.
K I'm ready.

Here is what I think will decide the final:

A sense of self entitlement or arrogance
From my perspective, I feel Liverpool might be prone to strayin into a trap of arrogance, thinking that they are obviously the better team. They are not. Player for player in assumed starting line-ups, Tottenham has more than enough to bring into question whether Liverpool actually is that much better. I doubt very much that Tottenham might be prone to the same type of arrogance. Tottenham 1-0 Liverpool

I think approach, mental and physical fitness, and a devil-may-care attitude will decide the final more than ability
Which team might have best physical fitness? Maybe Liverpool, since Tottenham has key players lacking coming back from injuries. But who has a squad ready to die for one another? Who has the highest desire? Tottenham's lads is now a tight-knitted squad that is highly experienced playing together. Liverpool has tested the CL final waters once before, but I don't think that will count for as much as they would want. Tottenham 1-0 Liverpool

This will come down to who is victorious in the battle of the coaches
Klopp will line up his 433. Few expect surprises from him, it is fairly straightforward what he will put out on the pitch. Pochettino, he might hold the joker. 1) He hasn't had a fully fit squad in a long time, so we haven't seen him pick a team based on the amount of players who now are ready. 2) Will Kane start or not? 3) We've seen Pochettino play around with all kinds of formations. Only vs. Liverpool in the league this season he attempted two very different approaches. Both failed, but one was closer than the other. This element of surprise might backfire, because we know that when Pochettino gets it wrong, he gets it badly, badly wrong. Still, in terms of element of surprise, that lies firmly with Pochettino. Tottenham 1-0 Liverpool

So there you have it, because Liverpool might feel overly confident, because we might have the most grit and because Pochettino might be the coach that has the best ability to spring a successful surprise, I'm putting my neck on the line and stating that I think that in what will be a tight and narrow victory, Tottenham will just about edge it.

You know that it'll actually end up being a high scoring, gut-wrenching thriller though, don't you?

Same with me. It's so strange how this is the game you strive to be in, this is the pinnacle, the game you dream of watching your team play in yet since we've made it all it's done is fuck my mind and body up :ROFLMAO: To the point where like you said, I want it to be done with. I just hope I don't feel too down if we lose, because there's so much to be proud of still.

I have half the week off work next week so today I felt excited to finish knowing I had some nice time off, I'd start feeling really happy in knowing that and making plans for those days and then I'd remember the match tomorrow and that excitement would evaporate, that's how much it's fucking me up :ROFLMAO:

I’m similar in that I kind of want it to be over. Haven’t really been able to enjoy the build up because I’m so worried about the actual game.

Bit annoying actually.

All the Liverpool pundits are being so fucking smug, they're convinced it's in the bag for them. Pricks.
