Its amazing how they can sign players so quickly and we take 2 years
I agree but this is almost always true of German internal transfers. It takes the entire summer to get any player out of Germany but if another club in their same league that they recognize as being above them comes in for a player they tend to just set a reasonable fee and agree to it.

Yeah German clubs are simply pragmatic when it comes to internal affairs.

Sell abroad, rinse the usually cash rich epl club. But German clubs between them are a lot more sensible as they know they’re isn’t as much cash to go around and they would rather get on with it.

I wonder why, I feel like the English players just can't be bothered to learn a different language or be outside of their comfort zones

I've only been to Frankfurt and a town called Bad Homburg many years ago. However, if they are a true representation of Germany, than I can imagine why German footballers might prefer not to move outside of their country.

I didn't see any litter, evidence of much crime any much better roads and transport infrastructure.

I don't know how much tax they pay over there but I can imagine that Germany must be one of the most safest and comfortable places to live in.

The only thing I didn't like was the food.

Ridiculously good signing on paper for Dortmund but does anyone else get the slight feeling that some Bundesliga players might be a bit hesitant to come to the Prem bc of the high standard?

The German league is massively over rated. Obviously there are some good players but I think we look at it as some kind of wonderful place in this country.

So for the money they made on Pulisic, they have bought: Sancho, Brandt and Hazard over 3 windows....smart

Another point with Europe in general is that it’s often compulsory that they learn another language whilst at school... English being a common selection. Whereas here doing languages is a chore and quite frankly a pain in the ass therefore we only tend to speak one language.

And I don't think it's a positive thing. Learning different languages is a great way of learning more as a person. Opening doors for oneself.

Leverkusen having a yard-sale or what? £25 millions is 25 million less than what another european club would’ve paid for him

It’s a little unfair to compare.

German club to German club deals tend to get done early and quickly. I’m not sure if there’s another league in the world that can keep up with it.

Throwing it in here before the lock. Brandt went for about 22m, Hazard 30m. That's almost exactly the money they got for Pulisic.

Having lived in several countries in Europe, including England and Germany, I’m not surprised he chose to stay there. It’s a much nicer country.
The english tend to have a high opinion on themselves and their country but as a foreigner myself, except for the brilliant football there’s way better places to live.

England is the greatest country in the world and I will hand out a severe punishment to anyone who says otherwise.
