The £250,000 of his wages they want us to pay is the stumbling block. Assuming Poch wants him that is.
If he is available on a 1-2 year loan it's worth strongly considering. He is a superstar and has history at the club. Big game match winner. Would increase our profile comerically too.
It's a kinda unique situation where we are too financially, as the rapid increase in turnover should leave us with sufficient headroom for a unique short term deal like this which is normally not our MO.
The idea of Kane and Bale linking up is pretty exciting to be fair.
If Pochettino really-really wants him I don't think his £250,000 salary would be a stumbling block. It's half of his actual salary and I presume - and hope - it won't create unrest among the other players if Spurs paid Bale that.
But I can't imagine there won't be other clubs after him more than ready to stump up the needed money in a deal that sound (almost) too good to be true.
Son, Kane, Bale up front with Moura off the bench....
It would be great to have him putting world class balls into Harry! As well as scoring some himself.
Commercially as well, the shirt sales will rocket!
