Bring realistic mate. No point getting hopes up only to be let down.Nothing like optimism
I’m think Grealish type signings only and tbh I wouldn’t be disappointed with those.

Probably a wise approach. One bitten twice shy and all that.Bring realistic mate. No point getting hopes up only to be let down.

We won’t get any top players.
What’s that got to do with this ?Or make the Champions League Final. Oh wait....
Not to mention, things are potentially going to get crazy this summer, even more so than usual. Madrid (Bale, James) United (Sanchez, Lukaku), Barca (Coutinho, Malcolm) and PSG (Draxler, Cavani) are all desperately trying (and largely failing) to offload huge salaries in order to reinvest in younger players with higher potential. Meanwhile, Chelsea are under a transfer ban (at the moment, at least), Goons have a tight budget and an Ozil problem and City and Bayern are so far being linked primarily with huge deals for younger who can sit and learn for a year behind current starters (Bruno Fernandes, Joao Felix, Hudson-Odoi).Probably a wise approach. One bitten twice shy and all that.
However, if we can't be ambitious and spend big now I don't think we ever will. Poch and the players are begging for it, we're in the bloody CL final (earning about £40 million from the knockout stages alone not including gate receipts), and we haven't signed anyone for 2 windows. If there's ever been a time in Levy's tenure for big time investment, it's now.
What do you mean by 'I understand'?
Right, ok. Anyone we know? Or someone on Twitter called #No1SpursITK on Twitter with 53 followers?been told by an itk

I really feel that now is the time to strike for a dynamic and potentially generational player like N'Dombele or Nicolas Pepe who could potentially change the face of the club, while the other big money teams are debt-laden and distracted. (I also feel that chances of that are about 0-10%, but just saying...)
I used to be a huge fan of Pepe but having watched him a fair bit this spring I’m not that fussed anymore. He’s incredibly similar to Zaha who is quite limited as a footballer, would fetch a similar price and would not count as HG. Very pacey, decent finisher and a decent dribbler but also very much a match of the day player and from what I’ve seen doesn’t really bother with tracking back.
LOSC had an important game against Lyon in the run in for CL a couple of days ago and I barely noticed he was on the pitch for example.
You're not wrong that Zaha is currently a better overall player. I've always been a huge fan of Zaha and have felt that he would be a perfect fit for our team. I have doubts that Palace will sell him for less than an extraordinary fee beyond any reasonable valuation. Parish and Hodgson have said as much. I just have doubts about Levy's ability to get a deal done with Palace, given the history. The Lille president, on the other hand, has already said Pepe is out the door and Lille have to balance their books through that sale.I used to be a huge fan of Pepe but having watched him a fair bit this spring I’m not that fussed anymore. Yes, I know. The guy I’m responding to was talking about Janssen going to Betis..
Jj confirmed interest the other day following a Sun article
I read that Lozano is going to Napoli
Uhhh, you laugh but as a word of warning we wanted/almost had KJH back in the day too. I don't know how long you been 'on board' but it was after Llorente I believe. Just putting 2 & 2 together hear but if Nando is leaving this summer perhaps Levy is just going down his list of 'big-name' signings and we can expect KJH and Moutinho this summer.Knowing Spurs, it’s probably Huntelaar.
If they'll take Trippier they can have Lozano.really? thats a shame man. I looked good against us
What about Van Beek?
