Gifted a goal and a man advantage and they still only scraped through, they will have to work harder to get results in the coming fixtures. I am actually more confident after that game than I was before and I was already one the most upbeat ones on here .

They still won though. We’d be happy with getting three points like that this time of the season. I’d take winning on Saturday exactly like that for instance.

MUCH prefer Liverpool to Man City as a club but they have the most obnoxious fans. Happy to see them disappointed but still hate city too much. Them and Chelsea

That's away to quite possibly the best team in the world right now though. Not away to a Watford side with ten men for 80 minutes featuring Ben Foster doing his best CoCo the Clown impression.

its going to the last day isn't it ??

If we’re ahead going into the last game then I’ll take that right now, as nerve wracking as that would be.

If we’re relying on other results then it will only end badly.

My prediction:
Us 10 points
Arsenal 10 points
Man Utd 12 points
Chelsea 9 points

Which would be enough :)

Actually can see Arsenal slipping up against palace off back of Napoli away Thursday. Palace actually have great away record.

It's still so close. Tbh, we should've had this wrapped up by now, but we don't, so I won't waste time complaining about it!

Arsenal still got 3 away games, Wolves and Leicester can be real tricky, plus Arsenal have only won 6 out of 16 away games this season and didn't really show much against Watford.

A Chelsea vs Man U draw would be welcome. Though I think Chelsea will win their other three.

I can see United not win any of their next three, I definitely think they'll drop points against City.

Our games are tough to call. I think we'll beat Brighton and Bournemouth. Anything from City will be a bonus, West Ham will treat our match like a cup final and Everton are unpredictable.

It's gonna be painfully close... I hate this!!

I cant see Man U picking up 12pts to be honest.
And Chelsea havent won 4 pl games on the bounce for ages so think youre about right there.
It would be typical Arsenal to go and win all their remaining games.
Agree we need 10pts.
I predict a shocking refereeing decision to hand Man U all 3pts v Chelsea.

Basically we just need to get the job done, which we should, and it wont matter.

Chelsea and Utd vs West Ham

Arsenal and Utd vs Watford

Arguably outplayed in all 4 games and yet all somehow won. Sucks but it's still in our hands, which is the main thing. Hopefully we have our fair share of good luck along the way too.

Ultimately, the wealthier clubs can afford better attacking players, who can score goals, which is fairly difficult to do in football.

It's as simple as that, really.

That's why the clubs outside of the Top-6 struggle to finish in the top 6 spots and why attacking players are so expensive.

Whilst every game is extremely important, looking at those fixtures the weekend that we play the Spammers and Utd and Chelsea play each other and Arsenal go away to Leicester looks to be absolutely pivotal. If we're still in the top 4 at the end of that it looks to be in our own hands, if we're playing catch up on at least 2 of those 3 we're in deep shit.....

Would you take arsenal 3rd and Chelsea 4th if it meant spurs were in the CL Final?

10 pts surely be enough. United max is 79pts and Chelsea 78pts. And if they draw that goes down to 77 and 76. Hard to see that either will win all remaining games. Ideal is United beat Chelsea and lose to city. That makes it 76 and 75pts. Anything but a win for United at Everton and they are pretty much done.

Well, not really. Man Utd beat West Ham with 2 penalties and West Ham having a perfectly legitimate goal disallowed. Arsenal beat Watford because the Watford keeper decided to blast the ball of an Arsenal player and into his own goal.

Those win were absolutely nothing to do with the wealthier teams having superior attacking players.

Looking at the fixtures and the recent performances, I wouldn't be surprised to if Arsenal and United dropped points in any, or even all, of their next three games. Very tricky run of fixtures there.
