Who would you want to replace Giggs though, I agree he’s crap, but it’s not like there’s a quality team being wasted. Coleman benefited from having Bale and Ramsey playing well. When they don’t play, invariably Wales struggle to score.

As a last resort Stevie Wonder...anything above that is a bonus....sorry to sound facetious but Giggs should never have been given the opportunity.

You’re right about Giggs. Coleman would probably come back, seeing as his club career fell completely flat. He must have been mental going to Sunderland.

At least I live in the country I support pal #slammed

Having flown 4000 miles in total to watch my country play in a friendly against Albania and not missed a Wales game home or away for two years I think entitles me to an opinion regardless of where my house is situated and also shows my level of true support.

Giggs never cared about Wales. He played for England schoolboys and was expecting a lengthy England career. He never got over that, and so never bothered with Wales.

He should've played for England anyway, that left side would never have been a problem then.

This. He used any old excuse to get out of playing for them as well. Couldn't be bothered with it. I just had a look at the numbers and out of 28 friendlies they played during his career, he cried off 18 of them, so he only bothered to turn up to roughly 1/3 of their friendlies in total. He'll sit there and argue he was injured or whatever but it's funny how his seemingly chronic injury problems never affected him when Man Utd needed him to play

Wales should fuck off football. We’re a rugby country and that’s how it should stay.

Tell that to John Charles (most successful British overseas player imo), Gareth Bale, Cliff Jones, Ian Rush, Mark Hughes, Dean Saunders (a sly one but I liked him), Neville Southall (one of the best goalies ever) etc... need I go on?

Not sure if you were being ironic but that irked me for some reason. At my school football was >>>>>>>>>>>>> rugby. Everyone hated playing the latter unless they were top 10% in size.

And as for the OP, yes I don't trust Giggs in the slightest, but that recent performance against Ireland was one of the best I've ever seen us put in recently and consisted of players I'd never even heard of so give the guy a chance (even if he is a ****). It was a darn site better than anything I saw from Coleman in that group that we really should've got through (or at the very least beaten Ireland in the playoffs - even with McClean at his worst).

Probably should've assumed as much but a liquid lunch made me think otherwise!

Nah mate. Was a shit post tbf. For such a small country we’ve produced loads of elite level sportsmen and women over the years. Would be silly to limit ourselves to just one sport.

Aaron Ramsey can do one though.

Surely it was his decision to play for Wales and not England.

So as a thank you to their North Wales fans Wales play a game at Wrexham Racecourse for the first time since Feb 2008.
It's a meaningless friendly against Trinidad and Tobago which they scrape through to win 1-0 with a 92 minute winner. Giggs drops all the stars because of an upcoming qualifier this weekend and the fans are gutted when the team is announced.
Brilliant PR work by the Welsh .......icing on the cake is that Giggs thought it was a good result and 'understands' how disappointed the fans must be.....utter bollocks and a total disgrace to North Wales supporters....who will be expected to travel down to Cardiff on Sunday to watch the game against Slovakia.
