Maybe we should revert to the old system , queue up outside the ground. For The Rangers cup winners cup game in the sixties the queue was from turnstiles in the West Stand under the old stairs, then north up the High Road, down Paxton , down Worcester Avenue and down Park l Lane , I joined it by the Olive Branch and I still got a ticket after several hours queuing. Waiting for the donut is a doddle compared to the old system.
The only doughnut in this situation is me; clicking on hyperlinks when it's nearly fully loaded. Part of me wants to blame the club for having active links on such an important screen, but I'm fully accepting that it's purely down to me and my shit hands.

Is it likely that the u18's game will go to general sale? I'd like to get a ticket for the wife if I can.

Ludicrous. How can anyone wait any longer than necessary for the Stonebaked Harissa Spiced Lamb Pizza?

If they hadn’t scrapped the cheese room I’d defo have gone to both test events.

In all honesty though I only really want to see the worlds biggest club shop so I can get me some soccer jerseys and a linebackers helmet!

It’s the clubs own fault, in all honesty. No advertised medium to resell tickets. Spurs needs an exchange site badly. Either a 3rd party reselling site or an in house one. Even the twitter accounts that RT face value tix available shouldnt be ran. The club needs its own site. And if you want to track it, make it be members only and add like a £15 tier with less benefits that can access the site for those that dont want to pay the £45.

Palace’s is well done. Have a site ran by 3rd party. Tickets are tracked via membership and the club offers cheaper membership tiers. Can only purchase with member # and it verifies before purchase....or so i’ve heard
To be fair this is what we will now have but from what I can see, it will still facilitate a few as they can just sell on and transfer for free.

Yes where are all the dedicated supporters , loads of seats still available , no queue you can get straight in without the donut. What happens if not enough attend , no safety certificate ??

Amend that when tried to get back in big donut.

Hmmmm 1hr 15mins in a que which timed out for me and had to get to work, so no joy

You don’t even have to go back that far. I remember queuing up for FA Cup tickets in the 90/91 season.

Coventry at home wasn't it, for the semi-final tickets against Arsenal. The ground was bursting to capacity then at half time, everyone buggered off to join the queues...I can't even remember the score.

So there will be ID spot checks but all is good if the person you are giving your seat to has a CRN and is part of your network so all good

Goddam, I got my dad a ticket for the test event but I cant go so gonna take his mate, I'm getting banned through a test event it seems.

This is exactly why I won't stump up £45 for a membership for the last 2 1/2 months of the season.
You have to book 2-3 hours out of your day to keep an eye on it!

Correct. WHL will now end where the Railway pub once stood rather than at the High Road.
I think you are being dismissed as a wind-up merchant, but the rumour of renaming the actual WHL is on SSC too. Can I ask where this info is coming from?

I can't say I'm in favour of this, although I'd consider a change to Red House Lane in honour of the famous lovely old redbrick building with the clock that supposedly could not be saved.

Just found this internal render from 2009 for the old design. What we've ended up with is so much better.

Interesting that they told the Trust they didn't think the opening ceremony could be before the Palace game because of fans not being able to get there from work in time. I wonder if there's a chance we ask for an unusual 8.30 kick-off time or something to make it feasible? Would still be earlier getting out than after a midweek cup game that went to ET and Penalties so I can't see any fundamental reason it'd be impossible. Then you could have a ceremony start at 7 or 7.30 which is doable for most.

With so much riding on an absolute must 3 points, I'm well alright with no opening ceremony as a distraction from the bread and butter of it all.

Get everyone in, let them have a look around, get them all focusing on the game ASAP and get those 3 points and hopefully a healthy bit of goal difference to fend Man U etc off of us for as long as we need to

Looking more unlikely just tried logging in again and got the full donut, so plenty of members looking for tickets. Personally think the u18s a better event as it's a proper game with points at stake, nice to see the old players but for most it will just be a stroll .

the thing is, and I'm not defending him, but for him to mention he would pay for any upgrade, I reckon 1 of the zeros might of been an error. we only see that part, did the script follow on after @TheChosenOne screenshoot

It's a pretty convenient error if what you think this is the case. Opening game, the most in demand Tottenham tickets in how many years and he accidentally sticks an extra 0 on the end of his asking price? No chance the guy knew what he was doing but clearly he'll say it was a typo to work his way out of it.

Charging the same price it costs for some season ticket prices? He shouldn't be allowed back at the club in my opinion. Not the kind of person we want as a fan. Typo or not (which I assure you it wasn't) he shouldn't be allowed his ticket anymore.

Couldn’t agree more. Now we are at the business end of the season it is no time to be doing dodgy opening stadium stuff

All the supporters just want to get home. Not interested is some soppy opening ceremony
Can do that 1st game of next season if they really want to

Anyway opening game(s) is U18 game and Legends
