One thing I did get from @Allygold - I hope Nike is not the primary sponsor. I had no idea you Brits could not pronounce it correctly - that might kill the brand.

Well, no, actually it rhymes with "spiky". Nike chairman Philip Knight has confirmed the correct way to pronounce the brand's name, after two men sent him a letter asking him to circle either "Ni-ke" or "Ni-key" and answer what they called "one of life's big unanswered questions

This might have already been asked but I only check this thread every couple of weeks. Are they freezing ST prices for next season?

I always used to laugh at my mum for pronouncing it "Nikey". I don't want to have to admit she is correct.

I'd rather be sponsored by Durex and get years worth of dick jokes than admit my mum was right.

She probably has wished she chose Durex too on several occasions.

People should stick to following Ally Gold instead of getting involved in this sensationalist nonsense. He’s pro-Spurs but he’ll tell it as it is and gives you every word of every press conference instead of the edited version to fit his own narrative.

Pity the site he's on is so shit. Pain trying to open it.

I agree about him, it's a shame the website is horrendous.

If it’s a choice between horrendous journalism or a horrendous site then Ally still wins though.

Used to love his stories on here. Better than anything he's done on there. Used to be my favourite thing of this site. Even the boob battles on manwhores mansion.

Yeah - Ally has good stuff - worth the effort to deal with the site.

Today's video had too much wind while he was walking around though...

I kinda gathered thought id ask... looks like a nice cafe

My thoughts on it were it should be open to the public on non match days, one it would generate income if not necessarily by selling frothy coffee but by keeping people in the area who fancy visiting just to see the stadium or pop along to the club shop.

Maybe there are other local cafes it would pinch business from or it's been proven by smarter people than I to not be viable for that.

I'm guessing local food outlets have been doing well out of the massive daily workforce for the last few years.

I just hope the people employed by the club love the place, take pride in it and are enthusiastic, polite & care about it, these are the things rub off onto the match/event goer and radiate to the surrounding area and keep people wanting to come back.
