Wow what a win for United.

Potentially 4 English clubs in QF draw it's inevitable they'll be an English draw imo United would be the easier likewise the other English teams would say we ( THFC) are there preferred pick.

I think us and Ajax are the under dogs going into the draw.
And Porto?

Man Utd will draw city it's written in the stars now its massive for UEFA and media
That's what I'm willing to happen anyway.
I would like us to get Ajax mainly because it will be a great trip for our fans and it's probably the easier of the ties

How lucky were utd! feels like Di Matteo and chelski.
Think Ajax would be v tough to be honest....and emotional for our lot.
How about Porto?

Agree with all this. Porto would be my pick, but we never get the best draw so im expecting we get another English side or worse one of the Spanish two.

Oh Lyon have already beaten Barcelona then I see, interesting.
United just knocked PSG after being behind from first leg. Lyon are 0-0 going into theirs. If they can score first, Barca will need two. I'm not counting anything out after United's win.

wow. incredible win by Utd

Had a thought this morning and it’s going to sound absolutely stupid:ROFLMAO:, but I really wonder if UEFA are instructing it’s officials because of the way both City and PSG are run that any slight decisions that can be seen as 50/50 go against them.

Last night I didn’t see the incident but heard it was decided on VAR for handball, and with Man U winning 2-1 and only needing that 3rd was there enough to call the length of injury time? As I say didn’t watch.

That’s the 3rd season running PSG have gone out when they have been clear favourites to progress to the next round after the 1st leg, Barca, RM, and now Man U.

With Man City you only have to look at the games v Liverpool last season, 2 or 3 decisions went against them, and like last night I never watched the Schalka match, but 2 pens, where they clear cut?

I know FIFA and UEFA want to punish both teams but are afraid due to the money behind them, so are they trying to hurt them in other ways?

So this is the current picture.....

Through to QF's:

Spurs
Man Utd
Porto
Ajax

Remaining games:

Man City vs Schalke (3-2 on agg)

Juventus vs Atl Madrid (0-2 on agg)

Bayern vs Liverpool (0-0 on agg)

Barca vs Lyon (0-0 on agg)

After the way Utd got through I wouldn't want to call any of these ties but for the sake of discussion let's say that City, Atl Madrid, Liverpool and Barca progress.

The obvious best options are Porto and Ajax. Neither would be easy by any stretch but I think Porto would be our best chance to get to the semis.

As we all know though, we'll get the worst possible draw so take your pick from City, Liverpool, Utd, Barca or Madrid.

Hope Bayern go through. If it's Liverpool don't you just know they'll get the jammy draw against Ajax or Porto.
