They were the better team in the first half at Wembley before they faded in the second half. We can wear them down here as well.

Aurier is decent but if he was on FIFA19 his defensive work rate would be off the scale on "low/very low/extremely low". Let's defenders just run off him

Eriksen Dortmunds best player, killed any forward play we had

The Eriksen hate is at Sissoko level. We are almost completely set up to nullify what Eriksen’s strengths are. He shouldn’t really be out there.

But he put Son through and THAT is why he’s there.

I think thats a tad unfair

When he gets the ball there arent any players in front of him to pass to. Son has dropped deeper because of the tactical switch with him being in midfield and Kane is crowded out by their entire defence.

He isnt playing brilliantly but think our players in an attacking sense are unavailable to pass to
He just seems very cumbersome in everything he does

I dont understand how the ref doesnt give a penalty

I mean Son is in front of the defender, unless he was touched he would look like a fool for throwing himself forward

Doing fine so far, we all knew how Dortmund would have come out and attacked us so there was always gonna be storm to weather, we're defending really well.

Atletico or Juve defend like this and everyone praises them, yet when it's us there's room for scrutiny lol

I’ve got no problem with the defending. We were always going be on the back foot. I would just like us not to dawdle on the ball so much when we do have a chance to counter.

Still, 0-0 at HT. Job done so far.

Well I thought that was excellent. Rode our luck a bit, I’m also not a fan of sitting back, but it’s working and we saw out the half.

I've no hate for Erkisen whatesoever, go through all my posts at will, don't think I've said a bad thing about Eriksen but tonight he is shit

It ain't pretty but its effective. Something is definitely amiss with Eriksen though, be it physical or psychological. Winks has been sloppy too, which is a rarity lately.

Watching Ajax highlights. Wow, they look so good. Neres looks a real talent and Tadic has been amazing.

Not been able to follow the thread while watching on me iPad but I would love take this chance to just say

"Ronnie fackin Whelan is a blabbering baboon"

'Son is miles offside' - "Oh no he isn't the right back played him on"

"Son couldn't get his shot away - pause - oh he was pushed in the back" and many other arsehole muggy comments.

Any other English team in Europe gets talked up but it's us, ah well.

To be fair Son needs to have more conviction and finish it.
