Apparently not according to the previous page.
I must say if we're going to nick a player from under Barcelona's nose I'd rather it was de Jong but I'll not hold my breath.
Look at the source. I'd be incredibly surprised if that doesn't go through. I think what we are seeing are the last stages of drama being built up around the move to get some clicks.

Shame he seems such a douche bag off the pitch as I've always really liked him as a player.

Not over yet then?

http://sportwitness.co.uk/tottenham-willing-reach-agreement-club-player-formalise-transfer-january/

Thursday’s edition of Catalan newspaper Sportclaims Adrien Rabiot’s decision to not sign a pre-contract agreement with Barcelona, and his agent subsequently meeting four other clubs, has caused tension for the La Liga winners.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side are ‘willing to reach’ an agreement with PSG and the player in order to formalise the entire operation that will see Rabiot join Spurs in the ongoing transfer window.

Whether Rabiot will accept Tottenham’s proposal or not is to be seen.

It’s been repeatedly reported he doesn’t fancy the move, but also claimed in France that PSG would like to sell to a football ‘friend’ like Spurs.

It's also been suggested they can't even pre-contract him this month due to their transfer ban...

The Mirror are reporting Bayern have opened discussions with PSG to sign him now.

As talented as he is there is just too much smoke around this fire and even if he did sign I would wager in a year or two he'd be eying an exit and another big payday.

This lad seems to be just too much of an asshole to even consider bringing in. A useful enough player but so many off-field issues with him, his family and his people. Tied in with lookkkg colossal money and it’s one that would be best done and dusted.

We are not signing Adrien Rabiot. We've got more chance of signing Adrian from the Rocky films...

Didn't they sign the turkish bloke a few years ago while on a transfer ban, he just couldn't play for them till the ban was over?

Edit arda turan.

Yeah it was Arda Turan. He left Atletico to train with them for 6 months and has never been the same player since. 6 months is a long time not to play competitive football, especially in a squad where your chances will be limited.

Just a quick reminder. Didn’t we have some of the same questions about Aurier?

And how much is truly to be believed by the press these days, it’s not like Rabiot himself have said to much.

If we’re identifying him as a Dembele replacement and Poch agrees I’m all up for it. He’s only 23.

This one is surely dead.

For those who want a beat update on Ribery - https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...ribery-gold-leaf-steak-bayern-munich-salt-bae
His response completely in character for someone who has behaved despicably for a long time.

Interesting that Ronay defends him with no context about his previous behaviour with France (he’s probably unaware) or his exploitation of underage prostitutes. But yes, let’s lay off poor Franck...

It probably is dead, but I have no idea what an article about Ribery has to do with Rabiot...
