Sounds like you are looking for an argument but you won't get on from me I just thought we had an event and they discovered the fire alarm problem so you confused me.

Apologies if it came across that way, no way the intention. ? I think Flacky has now posted the reason why the test events were scrapped.

Took a trip down yesterday to see how things are progressing and visit the club shop. Very impressive in real life, although still plenty of final touches and work to do. Unsurprisingly no one was giving anything away when asked when they thought we may be in.
Bumped into Mr Levy as we were leaving, he also remained tight-lipped of course! He did have his safety shoes on and was looking into everything whilst walking round the outside of the west stand, kinda backs up whats been previously reported, he really is personally trying to give us the best he can.

Not finding info (doesnt mean its not here) but what is the latest on our first game on the new ground? Looking at the tickets I see Watford being "played" at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium...

In your case, finding info isn't helpful either as the ticket page on the website isn't accurate. It said the United game was at the new stadium until they announced it will be at Wembley, has been the same for all the other games, they just change it as and when delays are announced. No-one knows when it will be yet unfortunately.

Why are you over thinking this for?
I like thinking. Sorry.

One of the reasons we are doing well this season is we are not drawing. It might just be a random statistical sequence. Or there might be a cause.

We do well away as teams have to play positively in front of their own fans. And that gives us space.
It is our home games that they'll bring the bus, but at a neutral historic venue, perhaps it is harder to justify for 90mins.

I'm certainly not suggesting we should not be allowed to move in this season - how relegation haunted teams choose to play at Wembley/NWHL is in their own hands, and we have played all our title rivals at home already, so it should not be a factor in the title race either.

Maybe arsenal could could claim that their top 4 rivals - chelsea/ManU - had an advantage playing us at Wembley - it would help our argument if we beat ManU on the 13th.

Think it's more to do with the extra tv money teams have bought more skillfull players and have hired more exciting managers. It means less parking the bus and a bigger gap between top and bottom.

We had booked the test events in but in the weeks leading up to the events when they were checking all the safety tests that is when they found out they had the problem, they are doing the same process now however just not booking in the test events until it has all been passed
Exactly!

Yeah I saw that, would be very odd the club allowing that to happen
Only odd if we aren't going to be in the new stadium soon. I'd imagine they have some special promo releasing in conjunction with the stadium....

Or maybe, just maybe, they're the stadium sponsor...

Nike have a special interest in our stadium since they sponsor both us and the NFL, which part of the store heavily features. Considering the biggest football stadium Store is selling both nike football shirts and NFL shirts. You would think they want to get as much promo done for their social media as possible.

For the world cup, adidas spent a year getting ready for just their social media campaign, I'm not suggesting that nike are doing that but they would want to get as much promo done before the opening

Not sure why it would be odd tbh. A worldwide audience getting a view of our new stadium with our best player fantastic PR for the club.

Yes agree but odd if it was something due to come out soon with a stadium that no one knows when will be open. PR disaster if we are at wembley all year !

Relegation haunted teams are going to try and park the bus regardless of whether or not we are playing st Wembley or the new stadium

Only Huddersfield left to play if it opens mid Feb onwards. Newcastle are at start of Feb . Huddersfield will be nearly gone by the time we play them. Just the usual garbage from an unemployed chiropodist...akaNeil Warnock

I love the idea of little Daniel walking around in his little steel toe cap boots and Hi Vis shaking railings and kicking walls to "test them" as he walks past.
