Giggs is not the answer....not prepared to put himself out as a player for Wales he is about to bring heartache to the fans. I never understood the appointment and after watching us lose in a friendly to Albania (5th defeat out of 9 played) there seems no plan at all.
Unfortunately it will have to get much worse before action is taken but I can't see him there by the end of next year....

Hahahahahahaha. You think you’ve got problems yet you beat us 4-1 and we still fondly remember the joy of scoring the consolation goal.

I think the problem was that Wales massively overachieved at the last Euros, causing an unrealistic level of expectancy.
Most of the players are crap, and now with a completely unproven manager im not sure this should come as a surprise.

Unfair to say the players are crap IMO. We're a small footballing nation with a limited pool of international quality payers. There's no doubt that there's some good young players coming through, but we've always struggled to get a strong 11 together on a regular basis.

As for Giggs, he's not well loved, he wasn't a popular choice and he's got limited experience. I give him another year at best

I think they just got coldcocked, could have and should have won. Xhaka should have seen red (again)

It's a friendly but I feel sorry for the travelling fans.

As for for Ashley Williams and his 'mug' comments last week... Shame on him.

I thought you misspelled whales in the title - I could have got behind that, but I could not care less about the Wales football team.

Yup, its a shame they went so far for that shambles. I thought Albania were a horrible, nasty little team. The off the ball melarchy was something else.

As for Williams, well there's not much to say. It's good to see the internal rivalries of Welsh football are alive and well!

It is so odd that someone at the opposite end of the patriotism scale to someone like Gareth Bale (who would crawl over burning embers to play for his country) has been chosen. How did it go unnoticed that he never showed the interest to play for his country? If his indifference to play for his country was not noticed, then perhaps those involved in appointing him should be sacked.
England had a string of foreigners as managers and underperformed. On paper they should have done better. Now with Gareth Southgate who, it has to said, had too many criticising the appointment and the man, has England etched through his body like Blackpool rock and is performing miracles with a bunch of young untested but like minded lads who are playing their hearts out for their country.

For many like me, there are too many International matches during the season which divides my loyalty between club and country. As a team supporter for some 60 years, it was inevitable that by now my depth of feeling is greater for the club. That, however, has done nothing to diminish my deep desire for the National team to win. Somehow, I have to find a way to support both despite the International games ruining our chances in the league and cups through injuries.

Wales should fuck off football. We’re a rugby country and that’s how it should stay.

Totally agree....I spent 5 years in a Welsh grammar school and never once saw a football...let alone kicked one....

Who would you want to replace Giggs though, I agree he’s crap, but it’s not like there’s a quality team being wasted. Coleman benefited from having Bale and Ramsey playing well. When they don’t play, invariably Wales struggle to score.
