What makes you thing Poch is in charge of transfers?

It has been said by the club repeatedly in minutes with the supporter's trust that transfers are by committee. Levy is part of that committee and the man with the money. When it's this late in teh window the final descision doesn't come down to the manager surely?

This sounds more to me like Levy wasn't prepared to pay Palace's price and so is looking for a cheap option, like a potential talent.

I’m heartened that Grealish will be done as we’ve been negotiating since he was in the maternity ward.

Makes me think we’ve got not enough time to actually negotiate for a second human being that plays football for a living to a high(ish) standard.

Realistically, think it'll be Grealish and that's it in terms of incoming's. Maybe a 2nd if things fall our way but this late in the day, can't see much more than that.

Ok I'm gonna challenge this. Dele Alli was a nobody Championship youngster. Harry Kane was a Championship youngster on loan for several seasons.

Surely if there is one thing you have to give Poch credit for it's improving the young players? Quite possibly if we were to get in two players and dumped £10m on a highly regarded prospect and £50m on a "star", the former would probably give us a better return.

Shocking we did not tie up the deal for Grealish a month ago to give him a proper pre season considering how short we are for CM options.

Right then, 29 pages since this morning. Have I missed anything?

I see Ali Z has just said 1 in and maybe 1/2 more, that didn’t end well for us last time we bought 1/2 a player. No guessing who ya buggers!!!

Quick question, not been around last couple of days. 29 pages today and only 1 piece of ITK in the RO.

What else might I have missed because surely The Trix ITK on Grealish is not 29 pages worthy?

Confident of Grealish only? That's great, but slightly disappointing. I had the sense - rightly or wrongly - that there were other deals we'd been working on in the background that would be revealed by the close of the window. And perhaps that is still the case, but on the surface, it's a bit of a let down overall if it turns out we were 1 and done with Grealish.

People lost their shit because of a post from Igi and well you get the rest.

Breezer offered a positive note. Thing is, it's amongst the 29 pages of (some) grown men losing their shit on the internet.
