Seems like Gards "no" is more opinion rather than ITK, which gives me hope
Feel exactly the same. I have no problem with signing Zaha, although I would prefer Martial as he is more adept playing as a striker and is only 22 with huge potential IMO. I do think Zaha is a tricky player and will no doubt add another attacking option. But I think Moura might well bring a lot of what Zaha can do this season. A wide forward is a sexy purches but I think the route of our attacking problems start at CM and until we upgrade in that position we won’t be able to fully unlock the potential of our attacking play regardless of who we have further up the pitch. Fact is, we get Zaha and he will be rotating with Son, Lamela, Moura and maybe Dele, we buy a high qulity CM and he would be a guratied starter majority of the time.
As said, have no issues with getting Zaha and I will be very intrested to see what he brings to the team if we get him. But as you say, I don’t think our problem is in the WF department.
Fuck it, sell them all and buy the planet Mars
We are miles behind them in the creativity department.
We are also talking about a player that’s going to take a space that Son predominantly plays and has scored over 35 goals in 2 seasons in the league, has Zaha scored that many in his whole career?
I will back him if he joins like I back any player, but I’m definitely not excited about it, the same as Martial. Think the only thing I have agreed with you this whole window is we should be signing a quality CM.
You don't think Son and Zaha will play together? LW and RW respectively? We are also talking about a player that’s going to take a space that Son predominantly plays and has scored over 35 goals in 2 seasons in the league, has Zaha scored that many in his whole career?

Here's a load of bollocks that's week old
According to the Daily Mail, Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha could become Tottenham Hotspur’s first summer signing this week.
Palace want £60 million for the winger, according to The Sun, but Spurs are hopeful of doing a deal for him.
Mauricio Pochettino has been a long-term admirer of Zaha, and a transfer could reportedly be completed within the very near future.
If Zaha does arrive at Spurs it would finally be a statement of intent, after what has been a slow summer so far.
Tottenham are yet to make a signing, after missing out on a number of their targets.
Yes but Son is going to the Asian games and then the Asian Cup in January. He is going to miss a third of the season.
What happens if Kane gets injured while Som is away? Last season showed that we can't rely on Llorente as a back up to Kane.
You don't think Son and Zaha will play together? LW and RW respectively?
Ah, I now see where you're coming from... 3-4-3Apparently Son is due to miss roughly 2 games due to the Asia games, I think I saw mentioned earlier, and will miss the 1st 2 games of the Asia cup. So he won’t miss a 3rd. I still don’t think Zaha is clinical enough and that’s against teams that don’t sit back. It’s great having pace and trickery but he isn’t used to doing it against teams that try and put a brick wall in front of their keeper
Not sure, I always feel Son is less effective on the right, even if he floats there occasionally, and putting Zaha on the right means your then playing him as a winger, not something Pochettino usually plays.
Hope I’m wrong and hope he has a wonderful career with us

Zaha is a player who can play off the right hand side - 100%
and I'm not actually sure I can say the same about Martial...
We keep hearing from the ITK's the Zaha pursuit is still alive and I don't doubt that is the case. The problem has and always will be the fee, but as we refuse to pay market rate I can't see any way it will happen.
People keep saying this but it just isn't true.We keep hearing from the ITK's the Zaha pursuit is still alive and I don't doubt that is the case. The problem has and always will be the fee, but as we refuse to pay market rate I can't see any way it will happen.
Havent people in the ITK thread say that us and chelsea had already agreed a fee but he wants us?
Martial's played on the right for United and Monaco.
