Maybe the crux of that tweet is correct but there is one major flaw with the info. Since when was it Steve Bruce's job to inform Spurs and Stoke that transfers are on hold? I'm pretty sure Villa's directors or an agent working on the deal would be doing that. Not Bruce. It's a bit like reporting that Pochettino has been asked by Spurs to thrash out terms with Villa for the transfer of Grealish. Without getting basic facts right, it's difficult to believe that tweet.
What a shit story. Why would a football manager be the one telling us that the transfer is on hold when the discussions are made at Chairman/Boardroom level. A load of old bollocks
