Of course THFC know who has paid them money to buy season tickets going back years. Financial records don't just disappear. It's Ticketmaster that don't have the records - that's who's handling it, not THFC.
Will they have everyone's from before 2006? When you might have paid yourself, or had someone else pay for you, who may or may not be related to you and may or may not still be alive. And when the payment might have been by cheque, or by a card or bank account that's long since expired? That's all on top of the problems we've seen already where the names on tickets have changed and the like. I expect that the club moved to ticketmaster and got rid entirely of their own ticketing operation and associated data, and even if it is still there piecing it back together might be a lot easier said than done. Unless there's clear and consistently accessible records it's fairer not to use them at all.

Either Spurs aren’t updating the site showing tickets sold very quickly or very few tickets have been sold. Perhaps reassuring for people in phases 2-5.
Perhaps it is that most are in groups and very few groups are all phase 1 people? Either that or thousands in phase 1 have decided not to buy, which seems unlikely.

I don’t think they’ve updated it tonight as my mates ticket he bought today is still showing as available.

What’s the deal tomorrow then do we get an email link at around 10am or go in via the website season ticket part?

Yeah it's not quite that simple, as I've bought every single home cup game since they started doing the Gold season ticket -- all domestic, all European. And as I've said had an ST for 31 years. My dad's been going since 1948 and has had a season ticket since they started doing season tickets.

Neither of us have been to many away games for the last 4 or 5 years, him through ill health, me through him not going and me having 2 young children.

So somehow that translates to us not being in Phase 1. Personally, I don't think that's right. I understand they took people's loyalty points away to enable people other than the old guard to get access to priority away tickets, which is something I agree with - but there's absolutely no reason they had to use that same policy for season ticket priority, where a completely different type of loyalty comes into play -- ie attending for your entire life.
You should definitely by in phase one. Get in touch and demand to be moved up. Though phase two starts tomorrow so you've missed out already.
It's crazy how life long members can't get into phase one.

No harm in trying via the season ticket part on the website just in case, but they do say you should use the link in the email you get. That takes you to a waiting list before you get to log in.

As someone who is in the phase 7 pot. Being realistic which areas (top 3) should I aim to get a ticket in. Don't want to be faffing around when the ticket window opens on 10th April...just want a quick in out:D

How is this justified? One seat apart but £275 difference. Those guys who've brought in the first pic have done well there

Block 302, row 61 seat 270 is £975
Block 401, row 61 seat 268 is £1,200

In the same pot as you and don't see any alternative but to just wait and see what is left

Ok in case this helps anyone

I was Phase 1.

You have to go to the link at

www.eticketing.co.uk/tottenhamhotspurstadium/

Remember to have your membership number and password and make sure you assign any others that you are buying for to your network. My e mail from the club came at 10:02 but I already had the link.

I hit the link at 9.15 on Monday and got the "donut" which went nearly all the way round but didn't let me in until 10.05 so you need to try and log in early. Don't refresh or you lose your place. If you read the posts here from Monday it seems some people in Phase 1 were able to buy their tickets at about 9.45. So it is worth being early if you want to.

When you finally get in to the site, the the seating chart is a bit confusing as it is a series of little dots for each seat and it is the opposite way round (back row to front) than the seating chart on the interactive guide. Also on my browser when selecting the seat I could only see the block and row number not the seat and so I had to count the seats in from the gangway - if you have 2 screens then have the interactive seating chart to help avoid mistakes!

Once you click on the seats and it adds to the basket then it confirms the seat number before you confirm the purchase.

If you get it all correct then an e mail is sent nearly straight away confirming the purchase.

I agree about the pricing which is totally arbitrary compared to the blocks. I happily have seats which are £205 less than the people I will be sitting next to!

I went for block 509 - near the family stand and far enough away from the away fans.

Good luck to all!

Sorry to get pedantic, but legally they (and any other UK company) only need to keep financial records for 7 years so the fact they’ve gone back 12 years is actually not that shabby.

In no way am I suggesting what’s happened is right or fair. It’s not. Merely that financial records most certainly do disappear when you go beyond the 7 year legal requirement (and from my experience even that’s a push).

Going to do this with screenshots. Dougal/mods, maybe pin?

First, you DO NOT NEED THE EMAIL SAYING YOUR WINDOW IS OPEN.

Go to:

www.eticketing.co.uk/tottenhamhotspurstadium at around 9.30am NOT 10am so that you can get ahead in the doughnut of death queue. 9.30am is approximate.

After

You'll get this screen:
Capture_50.png

Chuck in your client reference and password. If you really are trying to beat the rush, type it out somewhere else, copy your reference or your password and paste it in to save a valuable few seconds. Then log in.

You'll be signed in and the screen won't look much different but you'll be logged in on the side:

cap2_50.png

Click BUY NOW! and let's get Daniel Levy above the 3 million a year salary mark.

You will see a stadium map appear, (it might take a couple of seconds to show in the white box):

cap3_50.png

Now, click the block you want and you should get zoomed in like below.

cap4_50.png

Bear in mind that the orientation of the blocks is relative to how it looks as if the east stand is at the top, the west at the bottom, the south at the right and the north at the left, (just like our usual stadium map from WHL). So the front row of the south in block 206 as shown is the left hand where it meets that green bit representing the pitch. The back of that block, higher up, is the right. If I had shown you a north block, it would be the other way around.

Hover your mouse over a BLUE dot. BLUE = AVAILABLE SEAT but GREY = TAKEN SEAT.

My screenshot function doesn't show the cursor but your cursor (mouse arrow) will look like the back of a hand with all fingers open. When you 'successfully' hover over a blue dot, it becomes a pointed finger. Click the blue dot to select your seat. You will then get an option of what concession you want or adult if you are an adult. In non concession sections, only the adult option will appear:

cap_5_50.png

Click the button where it says £50.00 next to the relevant category.

You will either get an error message saying that it is no longer available, if this is the case, swear, increase your blood pressure. Create hatred and animosity to the club, Levy, Ian Murphy and Donna, feel ripped off and overall angry, then repeat the process in a mildly panicked state on another seat, (or you'll be fine first time around). Once finally successful, the bottom of the screen will change as shown with your highlighted seat now a red dot. (If you select more than one seat at this stage, you will have multiple red dots):

cap6_50.png

On the bottom right, click BUY TICKETS.

Assuming again no clashes or errors, you will get to the payment page with a timer at the top (more than enough time) to purchase. Note on my screenshot, it says assign member. It will either automatically assign it to the lead ticket holder signed in, or it will require assigning to others in your season ticket network. Obviously if you are buying multiple tickets, all of them will show in a list on this page:

cap7_50.png

Assuming you are on this page, the ticket is reserved against your name and removed for sale until payment is either made or the timer runs out. Don't blame me if bugs creep in that doesn't happen, but in theory it should.

Good luck you daft gits who are wanting to spend crazy money on the 'Tottenham Hotspur Experience' and don't screw up like me, get sold out for being about 5 seconds late on an excellent 1500 seat in the west and end up going for a 1995 seat in the east where I'll probably have the sun in my eyes and be a pain in the ass to get to which I can only JUST afford and got it in a fecking panic.

We're all just a bunch of mugs aren't we. :)

How difficult do people think it will be to use a concession ticket as an adult? We've had it so good for years and even easier at Wembley but hard to believe they wont be checking in some way at NWHL. Asking 'for a friend' ;)

I don't blame you. 4 years ago was the same for me. I was hoping to move to a cheaper area of the stadium but it never came up, the team weren't performing particularly well so the tickets weren't selling on stubhub at the time when they were eventually released and it really wasn't worth the money to me. I've not regretted it at all either. Saved approx £3k a year from not going and 75% of our games are live on tv anyway!

The only thing I would say is this season there is a novelty factor to the stadium. If the 10 month option is a nice 0% deal, it might be worth holding on to and selling via the exchange and making your money back for one season then getting rid if it's not for you. I reckon you should be able to flog every ticket next season no problem.

Thanks for your thoughts, I just feel it would be wrong to renew now.

If the 1882 seats don't get sold as ST's and have to go to general sale for games, will they be sold as regular tickets or will they be excessively expensive and you'll get the "perks" which were supposed to come with the ST's?

Can't wait to see how this pans out.

If they are sold as general sale tickets at that price and don't sell in the general sale you won't be able to flog your tickets on the exchange!

I reckon they'll end up selling them all. Some companies might end up buying a pair together so they can bribe some customers to using them.
