Carefull what you wish for that same teacher has had to go to court accused of, hmm how can I put this lets just say abusing his position.
I don't know if he got done for it though.
There was a number of boys making the same accusation I believe.

Didn't know about that. Did you go to Albany yourself? One of my best mates went there, never said anything about that sort of thing going on.

Darren Caskey has just popped into my head, he played for the same kids team as me in Basildon. There have been some dark days being a spurs fan..

At the time I thought he had the potential to be pretty decent, he seemed to just fizzle out and fade away.

Think Darren Caskey was the spurs player in the 'rising stars' section of a Premier League Annual.... Goons had Ian Selley, and Man Utd had some kid called Ryan something (Greggs?), Welsh I think he was..... not sure what happened to him

Johnny Jackson, seem to remember that be had a very decent left foot, just a shame he was as slow as a tortoise running through treacle

I didn't but my cousin did and was asked to give evidence he didn't give it because he wasn't abused or witness any abuse although I think there was a lot or rumours etc at the time

My mind been coming up with loads of names from reading this thread!! Gudni Bergsson had a few good seasons for us, if i remember correctly? John Chiedozie never quite reached the status he gained at notts county on the wing for us back in the day.

Moussa Saib comes to mind too!!

Same teacher taught at my school (Bishop Stopfords) and he did get done for it in the end. Think it was Mr Blackmore and what's stranger is my missus was taught by his wife in Finchley.

Back to the obscure players starting to watch spurs in late 90's (ST in early 00's) there were a lot of loan signings Kazyuki Toda, Lars Hirschfield (canadian GK) amongst the rest

John Lacy, CB who was brought to tighten up a very leaky defense. Didn't really help out.
Don McAllister.
Jimmy Holmes, the versatile Irish.
Paul Miller, a once promising Spurs youth product CB, who spent a season at Skeid (Norway) when they were in the top division (they are now playing in 3 "tier").
Gordon Smith, the Scottish full-back.

Scott Houghton. A double against Luton when the floodlights failed. Same match, not same time. After that... err...

Eventually came to play for Peterborough Utd then a couple more clubs until retirement. Is now a copper in P'borough area.
